ill still watch, but i have no motivation for it. it is really depressing to see Dame play an ungodly level of basketball and yet we still lose.

at this point, i wouldn't blame him one bit to want to get traded. dude deserves a ring more than anyone else in the NBA.

Many of Lillard's scoring outbursts were highly efficient games. Wasn't simply shooting a ton for buckets. Dame played with the flow, got his team involved.

I still look forward to the games. Don't know why; could it be because I don't have a life?

    right now, the odds:

Portland has a 0.3% chance of making the playoffs. They have a 1.1% chance of the play-in and a 98.9% chance of the lottery

Blazers should play Dame 5-10 minutes so he logs his 58th game, and then go full tank. That's the smart direction

I want to see Nurk put 2 quality games in a row tonight. His consistency has been missing all season. Effort has been an issue at times as well. His last game is what this team needs on a regular basis. I know this is like a broken record. But the time is now to show you are willing to put the work in to help this team going forward. Or get the hell out! It's also time for Shaedon to show he has the desire and motor to take the next step. I've wanted to see him next to Dame. Chauncey needs to start him tonight. I've seen enough of the young guys on this team. I don't see special. I see good in Ant, not great. I see a nice skillset in Sharpe. But i want to see the hunger. The burn. The "IT" factor. Dame has a fire that burns white hot. The youth needs to stop hum hawing around. The clock is ticking.

If Nurk put out a bunch of effort now I would be pretty upset he didn't do it earlier in the season.

The thing is, if he doesn't put out effort, then he needs to be gone. It's now or never for Nurk. There is no tomorrow for Nurk. I see him being a bench player , at best , for another team. Why can't he play for the Blazers like he did in the Euros. He played with desire. If he was in any other job, his ass would have be canned., with that he's bringing to the Blazers.

I don't think it's even a question anymore. If we're really going to get a second all star then Ant and Nurk almost have to be the matching outgoing salaries. The other thing is that we need a mobile C since Chauncey obviously isn't switching up his defensive philosophies. Asking Nurk to defend on the perimeter, out in space even in the mid range and recover to protect the paint is not within his skill set.

Simons isn't playing in this game, so it would be a great opportunity to start Shaedon Sharpe in the backcourt with Dame.
Of course Xhaincey is a nitwit and he'll do something like start both Reddish and Watford to make the game unwatchable.

Oof, the sun doesn't set until 7:24 in Salt Lake tonight. That's like an hour and a half into the game, most likely after half time. Nurk is going to have a tough time with hydration if he fully observes Ramadan which I'm pretty sure he does.

I used to say never draft or trade for a practicing Muslim. Just doesn’t work well this time of year.

He's been one of the best players in the NBA when he's played, but if he misses a third of the season it seems like others would deserve it more.

Fandom is not a marriage. We've made no vows and we have no input into what a franchise does.

The Blazers should be earning our eyeballs and our money, and they know it. Presumably they thought the decisions they've made to date would be a net benefit, and if they're wrong they only have themselves to blame... not fans.
