Here is the thing it's not the warriors who need to be punished it's GP2 cause it's believed he got hurt and never reported it to the Blazers knowing it might hold up / cancel the trade out right. I hope the son learns a lesson but either way he is now in the same place I put Felton etc -- Most hated Blazer list. I have mad respect for the Gary Payton but his son can go F' off and that is as much time as that jack off gets of my time plain and simple. NEXT ....

Warriors have stopped pursuing compensation for the Payton trade...he's going to play Sunday they say...3 or 4 months rehab my ass! Good riddance to the mouth as I call GPiI from here on out. He got a paycheck and checked out. Nothing the guy said seems to have much substance.

That one person is awfully quiet since we were right all along and knew.

I think this is the beauty/strategy of GSW dropping it before findings of false accusations were made official. Now they can claim "We believe things were not handled properly but didn't want this to be a distraction as we head into a big play-in game matchups."

Guy was a chump. Almost at a Felton level

Felton came in out of shape and played major minutes for us with very limited effort. GP2 and the Warriors should be investigated for tampering. I feel like it's very clear that GP2 signed with us with the intention of getting back to the Warriors. I would love an investigation to find out what kind of contact the Warriors and GP2 and/or his agent had prior to the trade. If I was our front office I would ask the league to look into it but make sure we don't let it get out to the media. When they go low, we go high.

I look at this trade as buying five second-round draft picks for half a year of salary (I think a little over $4MM). That's a pretty decent deal.

One more thing to add then i can forget about this idiot

As much as what he did kind of screwed over the Warriors cause good chance if he would have reported the injury the Warriors prolly would have removed 1 to 2 of those 2nd round picks we got so while he is a scum bag it did work out in the end for the Blazers at least in terms of the picks the question becomes was it worth those picks in terms of the headache it caused the team after all this BS came out ?

What's worse is that he was injured from playing for the Warriors last season and we acquired him needing surgery....suck it up Golden State...we did.

You know i always kind of hated the idea that the actual ping pong balls drawn in the lottery was behind closed doors and it was this big secret.
Now i wonder if it's stuff like this that comes into play? Portland #1 pick coming in hot!
