Parents can flag materials that they don't want the library to check out to underaged children...a lot of religious families put flags on the school and public library accounts so their kids couldn't check out Harry Potter books or the Twighlight books, etc...parental controls are in place within the library system if parents give a shit about censoring their kids. choices....ABM and his relative have made the graphics available on a public sports forum without age limits for anyone to click on...double standard? Wonder how many people they've shared this with on the INTERNET? Sheesh. There are banned book request lists on every public library system. It's like these folks have never seen a graphic novel or underground comic.

Personally, I'd prefer sex education (or whatever you want to call it) of any kind be left out of our public schools, and focus more on academics....which the US trails much of the world in.

No I meant maybe you could just leave and have different conversations with different people on a different website.

The person who dropped out of school wants to dictate what is taught in school.

The person who had 3 different women abort their child doesn't want sex ed taught in school.

Correct. Lessons learned. And what grand use of the information I've transparently shared with the masses here.

And the sex education you received at home from your parents helped you how exactly? Apparently, they didn't teach you about birth control.

The rest of the world has sex education as well. Particularly all of the countries we trail.

The US trails in education because we have been attacking our institutions for decades.

Hypocrites who judge and use “Jesus” as a crutch for their judgmental ways.

I think there’s underlying mental illness in that kind of behavior

some folks are immune to hypocrisy because they believe good people can just… do whatever they want, because when they do it, it’s good. It’s only when bad people do it that it’s bad.

there’s honestly no point in reminding them that they’re nakedly hypocritical; they don’t even care.

They get to wear it like righteousness though, and smile that little smile and pretend like they’re superior to the unwashed masses wallowing in sin.

I was a complete rebel in my teens and twenties and paid the price in many aspects. Thankfully, lives can and do change in redemptive ways.

As to my original point on this matter, it's sad, almost tragic, to me some of the sickening things our children are being subjected to in our public schools. I posted one above, and I have every right to fight against it. You have every right to your opinion, as well. It is what it is. Majority rules.

The Greek Way or the Jewish Way?

TGW is lean learn learn and don't get around to doing anything.
TJW is learn by doing......thats how I learned about sex education! Sure, I was given some guidance by my folks and maybe health class in hs, but the mid 60's was about free love, flowers and beads, rock & roll, pot in match boxes or lids at lair park.
It was the season of learning.....

Actually, what's "is sad, almost tragic" is that the majority really doesn't "rule" anymore. The majority is constantly being preempted by a loud, shrill minority who are constantly rigging the American political and judicial system for their own narrow agendas. The majority just gets to sit by with their mouths agape while the institutions put in place to protect us continually subvert the will of the people in order to appease the Karens of America. Anyone who doesn't see that the minority currently rules America is either stupid or terminally oblivious......and at the end of every day, I think we are expecting our schools (public and private) to take on far too much of our parenting responsibilities. And when our kids fuck up or don't turn out the way we hope, it's always someone else's fault. If "guns don't kill people", then it stands to reason that schools don't create "losers". Kids learning the "right" lessons starts at home. So quit blaming the schools and put the responsibility on their parents where it belongs.

Its actually quite simple, though very difficult to implement. But to fix/save our country, we only need two things.
Complete campaign finance reform and improved parenting.
