    He’s not guilty. Michael Cohen paid the $130,000 out of his own pocket, and has said so. But even if Trump had paid the money, it wouldn’t be illegal. Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones $850,000 to shut up, and NDAs are done all the time in the corporate world. This is all just a desperate attempt to keep Trump from running in 2024.

    See, all that can be said in Trump's defense is Mommy, look what Billy did!

    The charges are falsifying business records. Like paying hush money and entering as campaign expense.

    Working in tech, I have signed an NDA at most of my jobs. They bind me not to reveal what I learn about processes, procedures, formulae, etc. Not keeping my mouth shut after the boss fucks me.

    Eugene Debs. No comparison.

    Debs was a leader of the Socialist Party early 20th century. He was framed up on bogus charges for opposing US entry into World War I. He ran for president as candidate of the Socialist Party while in prison. Campaign buttons depicted him in prison garb with his number. Got a million votes. Not enough to be elected but that wasn't what he was after.

    Debs was a man of principle. He supported racial equality and women's rights.

    He was nothing like Trump.

    Yes, please connect the dots for me. Bill Clinton paid Paula Jones $850,000 to stop talking about the time he took his pants down in front of her, and Trump or somebody working for Trump did basically the same thing with Stormy Daniels. If it was okay for Clinton, why wasn’t it okay for Trump?

    Then throw Clinton's ass in jail too... If it's the same he should definitely be punished as well

    I don't know the details of the Clinton case but we're talking about Trump here. And from everything I've seen he should definitely go to jail just the same as Cohen did.

    I don't care about "leftists". That means literally nothing to me. I care about facts and evidence. Cohen went to jail for doing what Trump asked him to do in order to help Trump.

    Go to jail. Go directly to jail. Do not collect $200.

    No one cares that Donald Trump had sex with Stormy Daniels. What they do care about is:

    A: He silenced stories about himself during an election, WITH campaign money
    B: They falsified records.
    C: GOP used to be the party of personal responsibility and morals. That stopped once they sold their souls to DJT.

    The minute he did A, B and C, it stopped being a case of "yah but".
