    I see?
Actually what you said was this.
So you can understand how that would be interpreted as "Wrong"

Now that you have moved the goalpost I can agree with you. He has not been interviewed "YET" for any of the current open jobs. The statement was about the Phoenix job that has not even started interviews.

The post with this specific response specifically responded to the post that said "in consideration" for an interview for any of the available jobs thus far."

And my original post, "his name is never brought up for any other jobs", which is somewhat open-ended, I agree, but I thought it was pretty clear it was in response to the current openings... as the post I responded to was about the current Phoenix opening; thus, I responded (in response to the current PHX opening), "He isn't mentioned for any other jobs", which implies current jobs.

Thus my position: He isn't mentioned for any other jobs, so I don't know why Phoenix would suddenly be interested in him, so it would shock me if he was hired there.

So no, I haven't moved the goalpost at all.

And I see you noticed my response was in response to the CURRENT phoenix opening, so to be grammatically correct it would be, "his name is never and has never been brought up for any other jobs" for your response to not be "wrong"; "his name IS" would be present tense, meaning "in the now".

I could see Steve Nash as an assistant behind a new head coach for Phoenix.

    Stop what?

Just responding to people who respond to me.

    You can feel free to:

    1. Not read my posts
    2. Use the ignore function
    3. Not respond to my posts

All would be suitable responses if my presence bothers you.

    Hasta la vista, baby.

I believe he's addressing your comment about Stotts not being considered for a coaching position.

I wasn’t the one who brought Stotts up; someone else did.

Woj has said they’re looking at Lue, Nurse, Budenholzer first and foremost.

I wasn't disputing who brought up who, just that's what he was talking about, nothing about you or anything you've posted in (as an original thought/etc).

With the way things are looking like any coach not winning a championship sans teams in the first round and under are getting fired.

Management’s first act whenever a contender falls flat is to axe the coach. The GM who put together the “close but no cigar” roster too often skates on. Remind me again; how many titles have Daryl Morey teams won?

I’d be willing to bet that within five years, chatGPT and a good motivational speaker will be able to out-coach any of today’s head coaches.

And no mention of Stotts. I'll concede that you have been correct to this point.

This isn't an indication of how poor coaches are, its more scary how capable AI is getting and how very fast its happening. These AI can write legal briefs and other skilled work today, they could put huge skilled sectors of the workforce out of work overnight if there is no restraint on their development or restrictions on their use.

Terminator and the Matrix movies seem much more realistic today than the unlikely fantasies they were when created.
