Scoot can’t shoot at all from three. It’s extremely concerning with the modern league so slanted towards three pointers.
Yeah I don’t know, Curry taking the time to mentor him makes me think he sees something in the kid. But it’s always a gamble I guess.
I agree. He's a much worse 3 point shooter in g-league than Westbrook and Morant were in college. Of course, it's a different distance between college and g-league...still
I can't wait to trade the pick for a 29-year old on an expiring contract He's 29 years old on an expiring contract. That could turn our very badly for the Blazers. Siakam doesn't make a difference then gets a huge contract. The 3rd pick becomes a star in his 3rd season.
I think Simons + 3 is too much for someone like Bridges. But a lineup of Dame/Sharpe/Bridges/Grant/Nurk is solid. Would need the right depth especially at center and it could win 50 games if everyone is healthy and Shaedon develops into a starter.
I don't share your opinion of Simons but I tend to agree with that take. I think draft picks (other than Wemby) are at their lowest trade value ever and the Blazers need to be real careful dealing in that market
Watch his game and not his stats. He is 19 and he has a decent stroke. Unless he has no work ethic he will improve his 3 point shooting....which is why he is a great trade asset.
Problem is what is the result of acquiring Siakam in that scenario? Him and Grant is a slow footed defensive forward duo paired with a backcourt of Dame and Ant. That ain't contending for shit. I like Siakam as a #2 option on a contender but the rest of the pieces the Blazers would have don't make sense.
Nets declined 4 firsts for Bridges and now he is worth more. So no, none of what you list is enough. I'd love to add Bridges, but hes as untouchable as any player in this league. Nets don't have their own picks either, so they not going to do a trade to rebuild unless you get the Rockets in there somehow to send some picks back.
