They were in the ECF last year with the best record in the east and in the finals in 2020 so while you have a point they're far from the normal 8th seed.

He probably deserves one, as soon as he got out of the starting lineup they became much better.

You will have to read "Make the playoffs no matter what seed". Injuries happen. Bucks lose Giannis for three games. Brunson, Quickley and Randall all playing hurt with Fournier sick. Not sure that game 7 goes the same way with a healthy Tatum. Now one question that was asked in the presser with Tatum was about them even being in that position to be in a game 7 did have merit. Boston should never have lost games 1 and 2.
Bottom line. Make the playoffs and give it your best shot.

They did the same thing last year. They were also undersized and had a talent deficit. They are just a really good team.

    That benefitted from injuries.

They suffered from injuries as well. They were missing a starter, and an important rotation guy in Herro & Oladipo.
Don't be discounting Miami's accomplishments due to 'injuries'. They 100% deserved to win.

Much more easy to digest. I'll take it.

In some ways he and Ant are similar. They both can provide a lot of firepower when they are on, both are a bit overpaid (Herro even more so) and both seem to be better suited to come off the bench on a contending team.

Nuggets for my Best Friend in Denver. He is a true Nuggets Freak. Always been. Used to get so upset when he would go to a local bar, and they didn't have the Nuggets game on. Don't have to worry about that now. He said everyone wants to talk Nuggets with him. Enjoy my friend and Go Nuggets.

Nuggets in 6. Jimmy Buckets is too good for sweep to happen. Bam needs to give him some help. Not sure Martin can stay this hot. Jokic will destroy the Heat. Cat in a bird cage.

It will be interesting to see how Miami's D handles both Jokic and Murray. I bet they let the Bam guard Jokic one on one until the 4th. Can Bam stay out of foul trouble.
But the real key is who else can score for Denver. Can Butler handle Murray? That to me is the key.

My sleeper is Michael Porter Jr. Been ok during these playoffs, but no dominant performances like he had vs. the Blazers a few years ago. He's so due.

Nah. You play the Bucks without Giannis and it’s not going to compare to Herro. Sorry. 26 seconds into game 7 Boston was done. Miami has a great run but it’s gonna end now that they will play a healthy team.

Injuries are a bitch. But Miami is showing that (with the right dedication to farm teams and player development) injuries are not insurmountable.
