I think it's fleshing out the same story, Givony initiall said Miller talked to Portland and Charlotte. Not it's that he talked to 12 teams and used the same document as cover

It’s the gun situation for me. Bad decision making doesn’t usually just fix itself.

Is it clear he even knew a gun was in the car ? I haven't heard any confirmed detail that shows me he had bad decision making.

Also I'd need to know some of his history, that investigators could look into. If he never had any bad decision making in the last 5+ years and background that checks out as an upstanding individual its very likely to be a freak isolated tragic incident. Sort of like Chauncey rape incident that he never had another issue with 25 years later. But if Miller has a bunch of Ja Morant incidents waving guns around then yeah its a hard pass.

Decent defense and 3 point shooting not only give him a high floor, but when combined with the fact that he's 20, it makes him more likely to be "NBA Ready" than other prospects.

There's a world where we plug him into the starting 3, and he remains there indefinitely (like Dame's rookie year).

Corey Taluba and Albert Ghim both have Brandon Miller as the #2 prospect in the 2023 NBA Draft.
Here (pre-lottery) they talk about Miller's mid-range shooting and shooting versatility, and later about his problems finishing at the hoop.

video is cued up to this point:
Albert: The more you watch Brandon Miller and the types of shots he was taking, of course in the modern NBA 3-point shooting is important, but 2-point shooting is not extinct, it's kind of reserved for those who can actually hit it. If you can hit the mid-range, then yes, you should absolutely be taking it, Brandon Miller showed in high school and showed it in college as well.

Mikal Bridges, or Jason Tatum. Those are incredible comps. If Miller is drafted at #3. He better be.

Cued ahead to where Corey and Albert talk about the high level of Brandon Miller's passing.
There is a pretty nice one at 50:20 where Miller dribbles left baseline, under the hoop, continues down the right baseline then curls a pass with his left hand right back to an open man under the basket.

The thing I like about him is he's tall enough to see the whole court and seems to have a good feel for passing to cutters and back doormen. Plus he could be the best shooter in the draft.

Cued ahead to where Corey and Albert talk about Brandon Miller's defense. They believe that if Miller concentrated only on playing defense, instead of having to be a primary scorer, that he could be one of the top defenders in this class. He doesn't have great athleticism, but makes up for it with his timing/instincts/length.

When's the last time we've had a 6'9" wing that can flat out shoot, run the floor, and pass over everyone?

Grant has averaged 1.5 assists per game over his career. It did go up to 2.4 with the Blazers but that's not in the same ballpark as Jayson Tatum's 4.6 ast/game this season.

"and Rebound" should be added to that description.
