What are you hoping for with this pick?

  1. Draft Scoot and keep him

    27.6%
  2. Draft Miller and keep him

    28.6%
  3. Draft someone else at 3 and keep him (please specify)

    3.1%
  4. Trade down, but still draft in the lottery

    10.2%
  5. Trade the pick for a starting forward

    30.6%

Ainge wants to move up to #3. Markkenen/ #9 for Ant/ and the 3rd pick. It's a total reset for the Jazz. Nurk, Markkanen, Grant, Sharpe and Dame is pretty awesome. Draft Blake Lively at #9 to backup Nurk.

Make a secondary move with Chicago for DeMar DeRozan / reconciliation by using the #23 pick , and those future 2nd round picks from Golden State.

Interesting trade scenario. Is that something you came up on your own, or actual rumor?

I wouldn't say no to it, but I'm not sure why Utah would even contemplate offering this up. IF they did do this trade, I would love it if they could then switch the #9 pick into a top 6 pick and hope for Amen Thompson.

Is this another round of the all-offense special? Thought they were targeting guys who can play defense.

I think a Nurk/Markkanen frontcourt has a potential to be special. Because of the length, and ability to rebound and form a low post wall against driving players.

Kinda what Minnesota wanted to do, but was left with buyers remorse because Gobert is stiff and a non facilitator.

Keep the pick. If there is a worthy trade opportunity, Ant and Nurk are the one's I see as assets we can move on from. Do not trade Lillard for anything other than an f-ton of return and his request/blessing.

So many fucking possibilities to watch play out over the next two weeks. Let's hope that whatever happens it allows some of us at least a delusional sense of optimism. I think Joe can at least deliver that. Sure there will be plenty of outrage and apathy but at least some optimism... that should be expected.

If we keep the pick and it's Scoot you can make a pretty solid bet on Dame's request/blessing regardless of whether it's a fuckton or not that we're getting in return from him.

that one of the better trades I’ve seen. If Scoots at 3 I don’t think I’d trade him if it’s Miller I’d probably strongly consider this trade.

If teams really want to desperately move up to #3......what are we missing? What do they know that we fans do not?

Most teams don’t have a Dame at point guard. They’re hoping Scoot will be on that level.

some teams/GM's become enamored with certain players, if a team like Houston really wants Scoot at 3 - then maybe Tari Eason and 4 for 3?

c'mon, there's almost no chance that Ainge would do that; even if he could keep #9. Markkanen just averaged 26-9 with a PER of 22.1 and a .640 TS%. He shot 39% on three's while averaging nearly 8 attempts a game. He's a nearly perfect modern NBA PF

My Great grandparents immigrated from Finland. Lots of Finns and Swedes in this area.
Naw, Markkanen has it all. Kessler is a very nice young center. But Markkanen can be a All NBA type forward. I like his game and fluidity more than Randle or Sabonis who made 3rd team last season.

What is hardest position to fill? PG? which position is most likely help you win a championship? Wing? Although a great center historically seems to be or does it matter just best player?

Ainge is a tinkerer , and Markkanen is 26. 2 years from needing a max contract. I got a feeling that if Ainge thinks Scoot is as good as some in here think, he's gonna be willing to move up.
