Yankees are still fielding a team? Who knew.

Stanton gives the Yankees a 1-0 lead with a long solo homer in the first but Severino gives up two runs in the bottom of the first. Severino is another one I don't want to see again after this season.

This entire franchise shouldn’t be seen again except for Judge. I’m betting right now Judge wishes he signed with ANYONE but the Yankees.

It's unacceptable and disgusting how much money Cashman has wasted assembling this trash. They need a rebuild.

They did a rebuild once and we still are shitty because Cashman. They refuse to see the writing on the wall. First…trade Gleyber and bring up Peraza. Second…try and trade Stanton to anyone and eat all of the contract if necessary and bring up the Martian. This year is over, bring up the youth and give them the experience they need. Third…fire Cashman, Boone and every single coach, trainer, strength and conditioning person, basically gut the ENTIRE front office. Fourth…fans need to boycott the games. Little Steinbrenner only cares about $$$, not winning. Make him lose money and he will HOPEFULLY start giving a shit.

    What a horribly built team.

5-1, bad guys, which is enough for me to call it a night rather than watch this garbage.

Edit...just as I said this, DJL with a 2 run bomb, making it 5-3.....maybe I'll stick around awhile longer.

Even with a healthy Judge and Bader this lineup is deeply flawed. Donaldson as we know is washed and should go the way of Hicks but Cashman has to try and save face. DJ whether it was the injuries or just father time is not nearly the same hitter. Went from batting title caliber to a .250 or lower hitter. Volpe might very well and hopefully turn into a solid player but with the state of things you cannot keep throwing an automatic out in the lineup. What will they wait until he's hitting .140? Jake Bauers leading off? Mckinney? IKF? Catchers who can't hit either?

DJ right on cue with a two run homer lol. 5-3 Mets but this is a good example. People will go nuts over one hit and he will go 2 for his next 20 with two singles.

How many years have we been saying how homer reliant they are? They don't string hits together or extend innings.

Luckily the Mets are the biggest dumpster fire in baseball right now when you consider the money Cohen spent.
