?

What are you hoping for with this pick?

  1. Draft Scoot and keep him

    27.6%
  2. Draft Miller and keep him

    28.6%
  3. Draft someone else at 3 and keep him (please specify)

    3.1%
  4. Trade down, but still draft in the lottery

    10.2%
  5. Trade the pick for a starting forward

    30.6%

Detroit likes him at #5 among a couple of others.

Charlotte. They have a 30 mil expiring contract in Hayward for a really simple move.

Lol. I've been advocating for Cam for a while. But I also want to exploit the hype around Miller/Thompsons to trade down for him and pick up assets.

That’s definitely one way to look at it. The other way is when he played last year, it was MVP level and his team was 18-8, best in the West. He’s young enough to turn things around.

I think we are about to find out that the actual value of the number three pick is worth more than the board guru's think. The Brass knows they have to get this right.

Bane and Cam have like 0 commonalities. From body type to athleticism to their games. What a bizarre comp.

Because when he plays, he’s MVP level and he’s only 22.

    I fucking love Cam Whitmore.

I was dead wrong about Tari Eason last year and how his BBIQ (or lack of) would impact his game, and I have the same question of Whitmore. The guy makes some of the worst decisions I've ever seen.

But at 6'6, 230+ lbs, he might have a better first step than Scoot.

If I wasn't still hesitant about BBIQ, he'd be my #2 and it wouldn't even be close.

And therein is the conundrum. Incredible talent.....when he plays, which has been less than 50% of his career so far.

4 team trades are hard to pull off but this would be fantastic for us and seems like it would make sense for the other teams involved, if the Nets are in the mood to gamble like they were when they picked up Ben.

Houston is supposedly looking at him at #4, although I don't see how they pass on Amen

Scares me because it makes me think they will just take Scoot and stash him into the right deal comes along.

Have you ever considered that some of us might read your moniker as kings peed. I mean I'm sure every king there's ever been has peed, so it's very accurate.

We could have said the same thing for Greg Oden. It ain't happening. He's never going to stay healthy.

I prefer that to Cronins previous comments about finding "fair" deals for both teams and looking out for guys and sending them where they want to go. He needs to prioritize Portland's needs first.
