Draft Trade Tracker

Discussion in 'Portland Trail Blazers' started by TBpup, Jun 10, 2023.

?

What will Portland do on or leading up to Draft night?

  1. Keep all 3 picks

  2. Trade #3 along with a player for a 'veteran'

  3. Trade #23 along with a player for an upgrade

  4. Acquire additional picks

If Detroit wants to move up then get Duren and 5 and tell any player that doesn’t like it to fuck themselves. 3 and ? For 5 and Duren?

Who would fans want at #5?

    Whitmore or Ausar +Duran >>> Scoot/Miller?

Fans would want some asshole who shoots well. The team should look at length, defense and rebounding. Or trading it for a vet forward

It would just be 3 and the TPE at least that's what I would think.

Whitmore or Jarace Walker for me, although I don't believe we worked out Jarace

I would not do that deal… Scoot or Miller are too good of prospects to pass up unless we are trading for Zion.

Whitmore reminds me a little of Calvin Natt , playing style wise. Natt had a ton of mean inside. Whitmore kind of seems similar. Just a feeling. He may end up being a steal at 5. I like that he's a banger in the trees and a finisher.

Worst passer in draft… no court vision, no thanks!

If we're not needing to trade future firsts in another trade, I would much rather not give up the #23 pick to Chicago this year in hopes they get our pick next year, in a much much weaker draft.

Wonder if Dame would want to go back to Utah… a package of Kessler, Agbaji, 9, 16 would be interesting

Kessler was 4th in the league in blocks last year at 2.3 a game… AS A ROOKIE! Plus another lotto pick in this years draft, which is considered the best draft in years. You think Miami or Nets deals would be better?

forget 2023 first round picks in a Dame trade. It won't happen. Dame can't be traded until 3 weeks after the draft and he won't be asking for a trade by then

That’s makes sense, my bad… just thought about it since he is back at Weber State right now… I liked the idea of Kessler with Sharpe.

I think trading Dame is the worst possible idea.

I don’t want to trade Dame, but if he forces the issue, and the choice is to trade a potential all star talent to pair with Sharpe for next decade or to trade 33 year old Lillard… then I’m sorry but the logical thing to do is part with Dame.

Kessler reminds me of the Classic Utah center. I think Ainge will Draft Dick at #9.

The Bradley Beal trade added other small pieces:

    Suns get:
    Bradley Beal
    Jordan Goodwin
    Isaiah Todd

    Wizards get:
    Chris Paul
    Landry Shamet
    2nd round picks (#?)
    Pick swaps (#?)

D for the Wizards unless they can spin CP3 for something useful. C- for the Suns unless they can flip Ayton for virtually the rest of a team.
