I bet that would make MJ regret selling. Would Charlotte be what some around here call a "contender" with Dame?

    More rumors about how Draymond and GS have friction. I'd bet Dame is trying like hell to convince him to take the MLE. Here is a fun scenario;

    1. Draft Scoot at #3
    2. Trade Nurk NAS #23 future pick for DeRozen
    3. Sing Draymond Green for the MLE
    4. Sign Meyers Leonard for vet min

    Dame - Scoot - Mays
    Ant - Sharpe
    DeRozen - Thybulle
    Grant - Watford
    Draymond - Meyers - Eubanks

Deepest Blazers team since 2000. Sub the lineups 5 men at a time and everyone plays 24mpg.

LOL...c'mon man...your attachment to Ant is kind of crazy. It's like Olshey and CJ

if Portland has Dame-Scoot-Sharpe-DDR-Thybulle-Mays, they sure as shit don't need Ant cluttering things up as the least versatile perimeter player with the worst defense

here's a better lineup and it just requires a couple of minor changes:

    Dame-Scoot-Mays
    DDR-Sharpe-Scoot-Thybulle
    Grant-DDR-Thybulle
    Draymond-Grant-Watford
    Nurkic-Draymond-Eubanks

my team would kick the shit out of your team....

Windhorst said we've had conversations about #23 and/or Nassir Little with the Cavs. Not sure who the player coming back would be, but you would image it'd be Jarrett Allen.

Nurk/Little/#23 for Allen? I'd do that.

Allen makes 20 mil. Would have to include Nurk but I brought up Allen a few times this summer. Would make me happy.

If they move 23 + Little for Okoro or Osman Joe Cronin should be punted into the moon. 2 players on the same level as Nas and we add a pick?

I would easily do that. Allen is the next big that has a realistic chance of being traded that I would want.

Allen and his contract > Ayton and his contract, 100 times out of 100.

they are two players who can stay healthy and Portland may have no confidence at all, with good reason, that Nas can stay healthy

I'd love that. Why is he likely to get traded?

The combo of him and Mobley got exposed in the playoffs. They need to open up a runway for Mobley at C.

I have to ask one thing -- Why would the Cavs trade Allen away -- I am not as familiar with the Cavs in terms of money and such but I can see why the Blazers would do it -- saving money. I could be missing something and IF I am please educate me but he is not on a bad contract maybe a tad spendy at 20 per year but not crazy. I will ask again what am I missing cause I see no reason for the Cav's to trade a Top 10 to 15 center for a 20's 1st round pick and a under performing often injured SF.

Reason I said saving money is outside of Allen the Cav's have nothing to offer accept future cap saving like : 23rd pick and Little to Cavs for Cedi Osman who is on the last year of his deal and maybe a future 2nd or something. I could see this team being cheap and trying to get off Little's contract and offering a 1st as incentive to take the deal. I mean that would be a STUPID deal but we are talking about Cronin

I don't think the Cavs will take a stupid deal for Allen but why they would trade him is because he isn't a good match with Mobley. So he is rumored to be on the block.

They wouldn't it's a bad deal for them. There is no other deal that works on our side though.

I will say, I'd like the Scoot/Dame/Shaedon three guard trio a lot more if we had Allen in the backside versus Nurkic.

Mitchell was their all in move, from here on out, they are competing. They had a run where they flamed out in the first round and the two-big lineup was exposed. Would a second first round exit make them want to move off Allen for other pieces? Maybe. Nurk, Little, and #23 does seem low for Allen though. You just cant give up nearly as many pieces as what MIN traded for Gobert, and Allen isn’t as good as Gobert.

I would love if Portland acquired Jarret Allen. Is it just me or does he look like he could be Sheed’s son?

I like Nurk picks for Allen

I think it'd have to be a 3 way as Cavs wouldn't want Nurk. Maybe Nurk to the Spurs.

Our #3 pick would be playing 13 mins a game. That is not what you do with a #3 pick.
