    Could have placed $5 on scoot $5 on Miller and guaranteed a profit… Right? I mean not entirely but theoretically.

    Also could be driven by some people having insider information making huge bets. If Vegas sees way more bets on Scoot then Miller they will adjust odds.

    Yeah I think Charlotte decided awhile ago which one to pick. No way they are making that decision flip flopping back and forth the day of the draft.

    But they could be informing employees or representatives of the player of their intention today, which is then either getting out and reported or directly leading to large bets.

    Yes if you had made those bets at different times when either of them wasn't the favorite, yes you could lock in a profit by either pick. The problem is how would you know the odds would later switch the other direction to make the second half of that guaranteed profit bet?

    Also if Amen gets picked #2 you lose everything. Probably very unlikely but you never know.
