This is such a fascinating draft, but I'm so distracted by my Blazer excitement that I feel like it's flying by too quickly.
I thought the top 10 were pretty clear and then it's a mish-mash for the next 25 picks or so, but with Whitemor sliding then it becomes a bit more convoluted. And Jett Howard going 11?!? Weird.
Drafting Howard over Whitmore is a joke. Unless there's something permanently broken with Whitmore, teams are messing up by passing on him, but taking a guy like Howard instead is an obvious L.
why? i've been consistent. 1. wemby 2. scoot 3. whitmore check out who i voted for as the #3 pick in @Ed O 's thread. Polls are public. Fishcer revealed some injury that was revealed this past week that has spooked teams. But this is the range where teams need to give it a chance (see MPJ and Denver).
As much as I hate to admit it, I think OKC has the best track record of drafting then any team, in the last 10 years. Of course some of that is that they have had plenty of chances at it.
Don't we HAVE to take somebody taller than 6'6" at this point? I mean, I'm a fan of Jacquez, but damn.
Lively gone this draft not going the way I had hoped. Blazers so far sitting on their thumb no imagination so far from front office
