I really hope Joe gets creative with a 3 team trade, Herro/Jovic/Jaquez/27&29 1s isn’t that awesome. I do like Jaques though. Herro has to be sent somewhere for a Big. Would Orlando want him?

They can keep Herro, I’m not at all interested. Bam is someone who can erase Scoot and Shae’s defensive mistakes. Scoot is so stout that he looks like he could as good as Davion Mitchell is on defense if he’s encouraged to be a stopper.

Make sure a return for Dame can be a major piece to building our identity. We need to build a defensive culture—Herro and scraps don’t help with that.

 

If we pull the Dame trade they should S@T Grant to Cle for Allen. Fits the timeline and seems perfect for Scoot/Sharpe.

 

Towns could sit out the season, not complain about it, rack up credit at Voodoo Donuts, and the Blazers tank for a pick.

 

I hate all of the scenarios where Dame goes. I think if Dame is asking to go to Miami he wants to be there with Bam. Bam is the reason that Dame started talking about wanting to play with a super athletic big after the Olympics. That being said Bam is the only thing that the Heat have that is close to being a worthy return for Dame.

I honestly think that the Nets will be the landing place if we unfortunately have to move Dame.

 

Maybe I'm confused, but why is the entire universe convinced that it's Miami or bust?

This entire thing came from one interview where the interviewer gave Dame a short list of teams and Dame mentioned that he liked Miami and Brooklyn.

But somehow, from that, the entire world outside of Portland is convinced that Dame already has his bags packed for Miami.
