    Cleveland definitely needed more centers.

I thought Rolo lived in Portland every offseason? I think he has a house here. He'd be a fine backup for Nurk or mentor to Badji and Eubanks

Mason Plumlee. He'd be a great backup.

Is someone actually suggesting Howard to sign for next season? The guy was a hobbled version of himself 10 years ago. Might as well lobby to sign Hakeem or some other 90s center.

This proves how difficult defensive stats are to capture more than it proves Eubanks is a better defender than Nurk.

Mason will turn 34 during next season and his game was very reliant on athleticism. He was never big enough to really bang with centers and not skilled enough to go on the perimeter. I'm fine giving him a vet minimum deal if we're trying to win with Dame but otherwise I'd go with someone younger.

You are absolutely right. My problem is I'm tired of this being the case. Good players are good because they want to be good. Nurk IMO is not a good player because we have to wait for him to want to be good.
The constant nagging at the refs and complaining about fouls. The sulking when he doesn't get a call. The bad attitude when he doesn't get his way. It rubs off on everyone out there. Nurk gets caught laying on the floor way too often when he needs to get back on defense. Go watch any playoff game. Players figured it out quick they better get up and move because that ticky tack call isn't coming and the other team will smoke you if you stand there jawing at the refs.

with Jah out 25 games and Brooks gone I think they'll consider tanking looking at the competition they have to plough through in the West. A lot closer to New Zealand from Portland than from Memphis.

That dude in the blue hawaiian shirt is lined up with the wall in just a way that I thought it was two different pictures and I was thinking "Nate, why did you even put that second picture in? Am I supposed to know this guy?"

They are not tanking. They got Marcus Smart to keep them afloat when Ja is out.

I have doubts about that but you may be right..we'll see. Smart is a good pickup but I don't think they are going to be deep ..
