Harden to the Clips and PG13 to the Sixers makes sense.

Simons Nurk, future pick for Harden, McDaniels, and Dedmon?

Sounds like Clippers are main team pursuing Harden.

I'd assume that's for Paul George. Not sure if he goes to Philly or its a multi team deal.

    NY is another team mentioned.

Trying to think of how we could get in but can't think of anything.

They have one trade eligible first round pick either in 2029 or 2030. The value just isn't there for that plan. Also James Harden might be the last guy you would want mentoring Scoot and Shaedon on how to be a pro.

So Blazers get older more expensive and worse defensively while still having 4 guards?

    Portland likes guards.

It's not great and Morey would want more, but it would put a star next to Dame and Grant. You get McDaniels off the bench and a backup center in Dedmon.

I struggle to believe they'll send Paul George

I'm guessing its norm, roco and terrance mann or some garbage like that

It's really frustrating that we are never in the discussion when big time players are on the market. Absolutely never

Portland was in the discussion for Paul George in 2017; and for Jimmy Butler in 2018. Olshey wouldn't include CJ in either deal

I don't think anyone saw that coming. Wasn't it a foregone conclusion we wouldn't be able to afford him next year if we kept him? He must really love NY.

I was fine with acquiring Harden when he was on the Rockets and it was potentially for CJ.

But dude has lost a major step, probably lost two, and is nowhere near his prime. Binging on food and at strip clubs all night probably doesn't help you keep your athleticism in your mid 30's.

Now he wants another supermax contract and we have this crazy restrictive CBA? I want no part at all of Harden.

I don't love him, but he makes every team better. Notice how every name being floated isn't good enough for our lottery level team? Not Harden. Not George. Not KAT.

When are we going to accept that no player is perfect but will help us win with Dame?

With Harden asking out, will Embiid soon follow? Butler was there....gone. Simmons was there when he was good.....gone. Harden....wants to leave.

Embiid should just turn out the lights when he departs.

I wonder how many Philly fans are saying "trust the process" about now.
