    The Nets Joe Harris deal is interesting.

    They can now absorb Nurk's contract into a TPE thet just generated. In case we insist they take him in a Dame deal without taking back salary.

    Ben Simmons + Claxton + stuff for Dame.
    Nurk into TPE for nothing.

    This kinda sorta also makes sense why we dont want Watford if we're bringing Ben in.

    I'm about to go to Brooklyn this evening for a night out with the fam. This is going to be torture.

    I could definitely see that trade. Harris probably had more to do with the fact that they probably want to avoid the second apron. They already had a TPE big enough to fit Nurk from the Durant trade.

    I feel like we have at least one signing agreed to (that's not Grant/Thybulle). Feel like there would be more ancillary smoke on Dame leaving if we didn't.

    Woj is on ESPN right now and he just said he expects us to have Jerami signed in half an hour. Some on their said it doesn't mean anything for the Dame situation but I disagree. I think if Jerami re-signs that will mean that Dame is here until at least the trade deadline.

    Yeah because I am sure that is what he's being fed on Philly's side.

    Before the Cronin/Dame meeting he was very much in the "Dame is already gone" narrative. Then he basically shut up about Dame after.

    Jerami is a perfect starting PF for a team that quits early and tanks for picks. Fans love him, Dame loves him, Grant loves being a Blazer !! A much better tanking atmosphere in Portland, compared to crummy 'ol Detroit.
