    #76 Christ Koumadje

Jean Marc Christ Koumadje (born July 7, 1996) is a Chadian professional basketballplayer for Alba Berlin of the Basketball Bundesliga.

Born in N'Djamena, Chad, Koumadje first picked up a basketball when he was 15, after previously playing soccer before he lost his speed because of his growth spurts. When he was 16, in 2013, his mother relocated 3,000 km to Senegal due to the political unrest in Chad. In Senegal, Koumadje met basketball recruiter Ibrahima N’Diaye, the brother of former NBA player Mamadou N'Diaye, who approached him to work out at the Flying Star Academy in Dakar. Six months later, Koumadje received the opportunity to receive a basketball scholarship in the United States.[1]

Koumadje played high school basketball at the Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida, where he was teammates with Ben Simmons.[

    Koumadje played
college basketball at Florida State. During his senior season at FSU, Koumadje averaged 6.6 points per game, 5.6 rebounds per game, 1.4 blocks per game, and 15.5 minutes played per game.[3]

    Professional career
    Edit
    Delaware Blue Coats (2019–2020)Edit
After going undrafted in the 2019 NBA draft, he signed with the Philadelphia 76ers.[4] He was cut during training camp and was added to the training camp roster[5] and opening night roster[6] of the Delaware Blue Coats, the NBA G League affiliate of the 76ers. Koumadje had 19 points, 10 rebounds, and five blocks in a 114-107 win against the Raptors 905 on December 14.[7] On January 4, 2020, Koumadje recorded a triple-double in a 111-88 win over the Long Island Nets, posting 12 points, 16 rebounds and a franchise-record 12 blocks.[8][9] In the last 10 games of the shortened 2019–20 G League season, Koumadje averaged 11.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 5.8 blocks per game, shooting 66% from the field.[10] He was named NBA G League Defensive Player of the Year.[11]

    Movistar Estudiantes (2020)
    Edit
On September 21, 2020, Movistar Estudiantesannounced that they had signed Koumadje.[12]

    Avtodor Saratov (2020–2021)

On December 20, 2020, he has signed with Avtodor of the VTB United League.[13]

    Alba Berlin (2021–present)

Remember, they use metric in South Sudan. I think that makes him 38.

Jaizec Lottie played in the 1st division over here in Switzerland. He was stellar with 21pts, 5rebs, 4 assists. Shooting: 59/42/80.

Had 2 offers for the SL Portland and Dallas. Chose Portland as he thinks the opportunity is better.

Swiss 1st division is not good at all and he probably is the first player ever to try this jump to summer league.

@SwissBlazer ....thanks for the hometown info on Lottie. I knew nothing about him.
@blazerfan11 ...thanks for the player profiles.
    @Natebishop3 ...like the new avatar.

It was nice to hear how much more comfortable Sharpe was than last year at this time. Already seems to have matured and is gaining some quiet leadership qualities.
You can't help but love the effusive energy from Scoot. It will be tough for him as the losses mount up, but I like his vibe.
Nice to also see some actual height on the team. Really looking forward to seeing what Badji can do. Koumadje seems to have much slower feet, but you can't teach 7'4".

That’s who SHOULD start. But I don’t think Keon is coming off the bench. I could see Murray over Walker.

Butler and 'Death Grip' Duop Reath getting shout outs and his face lit up when he talked about Badji. Rayan already has a nickname....Rups. (Roops)
Keon almost seems like the forgotten man.
    Thanks for the videos @Natebishop3

I don't think Keon will be here long term. If I had to guess, Keon and Nas are potential addons for a Grant trade at the deadline.
