I was going to post this as a reply to someone in one of the threads, but I think it might be helpful to a lot of us.

There's going to be a lot put out there by the talking heads and fans of other teams over the next weeks or months, and I'm sure it'll frustrate or anger a lot of us from time to time.

I just want to say don't let the knuckleheads ruin your enjoyment of the Blazers.

Yeah, the odds might be against us winning a lot of games this season, but I think there is a lot to be excited about, several exciting players, and we can imagine a really bright future if we don't let the negative nancies and the know-it-all writers make us feel like we've lost even before we play a game.

Those outsiders can only influence your mindset if you let them, so don't let them. Have fun with the process and let their words vanish into the wind.

We should be celebrating crushing the draft but all this BS has clouded over that joy. It'll come back as soon as these guys go out and win a game.

I think it only clouds that joy if you let it. Just MO. It's easy to give in to the negative, but you don't have to leave the static on.

I think the hangover is unavoidable after 11 years of trust but I don't take sports that seriously so I'm fine...as of today, it's unresolved. Come preseason it should feel totally different ...my 2 cents but I plan to enjoy the new guys on the team.

Have to support Scoot Shae Ant etc. 110%. None of this debacle is their fault. Have to throw all the support behind them. They are a very talented young group of guys. Who knows, in a few weeks the POR young core might start looking even better.

Let me know when Scoot t shirts are out! Sharpe too. Not changing my avatar either.
