Thanks for the podcast! Nate, for the love of god, reposition the camera. Larry is just not THAT tall!
I can’t match his position. I can go above my monitor or I can go lower. But mine is as central as it can be.
You lied in the first 20 seconds... EVERYONE IS A LIAR!!!! ...Or the podcast went longer than you anticipated.
I was trying to keep it to 30 minutes and then Larry just had to go and ask for my thoughts on summer league lol
Like I said, we could probably talk for 2 hours. It’s hard to turn it off when you have other things you want to talk about.
good job guys although I'm not sure why Nate's microphone is the size of a buick one thing that was said about the Blazers being 11-12M below the tax....are you sure? Spotrac says:
Yeah, I forgot to include the dead cap salaries, and I don't have them guaranteeing Williams salary, which they still might. They also still have some cap holds on there that I am not including because I think they will waive those. Sportrac is more technically correct. I'm projecting what I believe it will be....and needed to add in the Dead Cap numbers.
I didn't bother to add up all the salaries and dead salary. But If Spotrac is saying the Blazers have total taxable salaries only 1.7M below the line, that's probably pretty close and does anybody think the Vulcans will allow Cronin to go into the tax for a 30 win team next season?
I thought one of the most interesting comments from Joe was that he inferred that Hart asked for a trade & Joe worked with him to accommodate him to a good situation.
Heck no. But regardless of the number, the point we were making still stands in relation to not having penalty ramifications if this drags out and Dame were somehow still on the roster. IIRC, Sportrac is still including J. Williams contract, which is not fully guaranteed, and a cap hold for Justice Winslow. The also still have Kevin Knox listed and he is already re-signed with another team.
