I think he works really well with Scoot. Scoot is ultra-aggressive and Shaedon will play off him.

Hopefully Scoot teaches him some of Curry's drills.

They just said on ESPN that they talked to Scoot and he said the MRI was clean.

The further this goes on, the more i am on Team Joe.
Not only did he draft Dame's replacement, we showed him off for a half. He trended on twitter all night. Charlotte fans are reeling and Jordan is a crying meme again on twitter for drafting Brandon Miller instead of Scoot.

Best thing that could have happened for Joe was Scoot to get that run. Now we have another "Shoulder" injury [to shut him down] so we won't see him again until Regular season.

Fans have united so to speak in the last week and Dame has made it easy letting his agent publicly push his agenda.

    Pumped for the future.

It doesn’t have to be a bad decision. For me I think he should’ve been real with us and Dame. He made the shrewd decision to go with the rebuild which Dame had been clear wasn’t his way.

I really just want us to make the best trade possible so we can stop talking about this bullshit. Joe did the right thing but I think it’s understandable that the right thing would leave Dame in the place where he obviously is.

    Saying this for years
I think I said it last year or the year before: If your PG isn't one of your top players in summer league, you need to have PGs who are facilitators. Otherwise it messes up the experience for the rest of your players. I like Devoe, but he wasn't even a PG in college, and for guys like Murray and Badji to get some live game reps, you need someone who can get them the ball. Scoot was the only guy on the team who has the mindset to set up his teammates and get them the ball.

I know I'm over thinking this but I didn't see Scoot raise his arm even once on the sidelines the past two games when he's been cheering. Irrationally worried that this is more serious than they're letting on.

Yeah but they said the scan came back negative and if he was actually hurt I think they would have just said he’s out for the rest of SL.

Did any details come from the scan beyond that it's a "strain?"

Varying degrees of strains. Possibly even including some substantial tears.

I'm having a deja vu moment.

They were very specific last year when they reported about Shaedon. Why would they hide that this time?

Also it wasn’t official, but ESPN said they talked to Scoot and he said the scan was clean.

Ya i don't really care about SL. More concerned about not getting court time over the next few months

You can have a negative MRI and still be experiencing pain and stiffness. He's got the regular season to learn to play through that. He played one game so he still gets a Summer League championship ring when we repeat.

I forgot the podcast, but it brought up the fact that Scoot completely shut it down whenever he was even a little injured in the G League. They compared this to how Brandon Miller was playing through an injury he shouldn't have and it may have hurt his draft stock. Obviously, this was pre-draft and it didn't hurt his draft stock, but it may be something to watch.

Is Scoot on the Kawhi, "I have to be 100%" train?

FWIW, if I were the Blazers, I'd shut Scoot down because it's SL and it doesn't matter.
