If Scoot doesn't lead all rookies in assists I'm calling him a bust and becoming a full time Salem Arena football fan.
ppg Simons 23 Grant 19 Scoot 16 Sharpe 14 Thybulle 10 (unknown) starting Center, 9 Little 8 Murray 7 Walker 6 Keon 5 = free chicken nuggets.
Each player on the wining team of this in season tourney will take home $500,000? If that’s true the team with 11 players set to make the league minimum will have the most to play for and will win. I’m picking the Suns for that reason!
Most excited I've been for a season since COVID hit. I love watching young teams with zero expectations and watching them grow game by game.
It will be fun watching the young guys get out and run. How do you think the always chipper and positive Nurk will do. You know since he wants everything run through him. Not sure how that’s going to turn out.
The wildcard for the season is Chauncey Billups. if we see possessions where Dame is standing stationary, trying to feed Grant, also standing stationary with a defender next to him, it means Billups either condones that type of shitty offense or doesn't have the cajones to stop it.
I am waiting on pins and needles (never typed that before) for this person to PLEASE break down how THIS team is going to win 44 games though…..
First, let's celebrate the fact that you can type and this is not some kind of an audio to text transcriber you use. Way to go there, buddy, very proud of you. Second, only way this Blazers team gets close to play 0.50 ball is if Scoot is even better than what we have seen so far and Shae was following Dame's lead and drinking like a fish in Vegas.
I mean these are last seasons standings….. I don’t think we are winning 44 games this season FAMS, sorry. And if that me being “negative” and deserving of being blocked on here, so be it.
35 win season. That is good imho. I expect Grant to lead the team in scoring and to take most of the shots too. That's why he signed on I suppose. Have to have huge growth from the young guys, all of em. Sharpe has a lot of work to do. Teams will scout him and know his weaknesses. Must overcome that. It would be nice to have Scoot at 15/6/6 or thereabouts and really work on his long range shooting to be a threat.
28 wins. Finish 15th in the west. Scoot averages 17 and 7. Shaedon puts up 15 and 4. Simons leads us in scoring at 25 ppg on decent efficiency. Grant traded midway thru the season.
The last time we were starting a rebuild around two young guys, Dame's talent screwed it up and got us into the playoffs. Costing us an important lottery pick. Another year in the lottery is what I expect and in some ways, hope for. Though I know once the season starts, I'll be rooting for them to win every game. I won't predict wins at this point because the roster is likely to change significantly between now and October.
