Sorry, @crandc . Saying goodbye to the little fur balls who brighten our lives is the hardest part of having pets. The other 99% makes life so much more rewarding. I hope, when the time is right, that you find another feline friend to share your life with.
My condolences... Seeing you post about Lucia made me smile every time... no one will miss her more than you, but we all will miss her too.
Well said. I think most of us have felt like Lucia is as much a part of this forum as any of the rest of us--moreso than most, actually, considering we actually knew her real name!
I still walk into a room and look for Lucia. Look for the cat with the sun in her eyes and she's gone. Lucia in the sky with diamonds.. I used to sing that to her.
So sorry Crandc. You had made her special to me as well, as you know. Hopefully you get good heartwarming memories when thinking of her. I hope what I sent helps. If I can do more, just say the word. From one cat lover to another. RIP Lucia.

It was my first thought when I saw the title. My mind immediately added...with diamonds and then I realized what he title must be referring too, that Lucia was gone, and I deflated. I was tickled to hear Crandc share that tidbit as well.
