    You think Jovic can play the 3, and is already a better option to start than Nas or Matisse?

    You think this front office will actually be able to get something for Lowry's expiring deal?

    You think the sum total return for Dame/Ant/Nurk will be Lowry/Allen/Jovic & picks?

    I doubt all of these things. I don't think the last one is even possible.

    Against some team with a less physical SF perhaps we start Sharpe or play him big minutes;

    Dame Scoot
    Ant Thybulle
    Sharpe NAS
    Grant Murray
    Nurk Reath

    I like our young guys getting more minutes on that lineup much better, should score well. But its pretty small.

    I would be curious to see if Jovic has the lateral quickness to guard other SFs. Some teams have similar taller 3s where it would work IMO. Against other teams, Nas and Thybyulle would be a better option. So I like the idea. But I still would want JJjR included so he can play SF and have Jovic at the 4 once Grant leaves.

    As for Walker at center, I would rather have Moses or Reath.

    Walker would have a chance to beat out NAS or Murray for backup forward minutes.

    Rupert has great physical tools if he he beats out someone for minutes but I suspect he's a year away.

    Reath I'd assume beats out JPJ Brown Badji for minutes but just play whoever deservers it. JPJ I have the smallest bit of interest in, maybe he gets some PF or C minutes. Brown and Badji are practice body scrubs that ideally shouldn't play.

    If Dame is sitting out;

    Scoot ?
    Ant Sharpe
    Thybulle NAS
    Grant Murray
    Nurk Reath

    Scoot is a natural leader and great at setting up the offense so I'd start him. I'm a super big Sharpe fan but honestly he's just not as polished as Ant is right now so I think you start Ant and let Sharpe continue to grow his game as the focal point of the bench offense. Sharpe defense isn't any better than Ant right now, I'd say its actually worse. Yeah I give him more long term potential on that end but make him prove he deserves it now and that he defends now before giving him the start.

    Grant and Nurk should be in trade calls along with Dame. Probably Thybulle as well. I'm not sure any of these guys will have any trade value though, in which case just keep them and hope with good play they are worth a late pick or something at the deadline or next summer.

    Jovic is a potential matchup nightmare for a 6’6” guy. Ideally Miami will cave and give us Martin

    Here's my depth chart as the roster currently stands:

    upload_2023-9-13_21-53-27.png

    I couldn't find any details on the contracts for Knox or Reath, so I'm assuming they are non-guaranteed.

    I'm excited to see Sharpe in more of a leadership role. And I liked what I saw from Henderson in his limited minutes in summer league. Hopefully he comes in and starts to earn more floor time early in the season.

    We're now 29 days away from the Blazers first pre-season game!

    Well we don't need Jovic the guy pretty useless on D. I rather see walker and Murray gets minutes because both as some sense on the defense end Miami can keep him i rather have Martin.
