    We'll know if it happens by tonight... because yeah, I think Portland would be all over it. Or maybe they'd give Miami a chance to get serious first...

    That sounds like a great consolation if we can't get it going sooner. Not trying to knock it... I just hate watching new GMs who have never proven anything bake their cake into a longer stretch of job security.

    Phoenix would love length. Precious or Koloko on cheap contracts. If they can go to Portland with OG and Dick you do the Ayton deal separate from the Dame deal.

    For sure. I just don't want to get stuck in the middle again. That's my worry. I want a superteam. I want a team good enough that people can't sleep on Portland like they're used to.

    It'd also be cool to cover deep playoff runs and talk about players (or trades) with top draft picks.

    Normally I’d say give Dame one more shot at his destination of choice but given the way the Heat have negotiated and given the seemingly unstable nature of Masai offers, I’d just get phx on the line and wrap it up.

    Everything is so quiet now. I thought if they were truly going to pull the trigger on a Dame trade before camp it'd get agreed to by today so physicals can be done and it becomes official before Monday.

    So either it's quiet because we're minutes away from a Woj bomb..... or were just going to roll with this roster the next few months.

    I believe he is their insider, yes. I think on RealGM someone said he had retweeted from an unreliable account, which is why he deleted it? Who knows. Seems if he is an insider, he wouldn't have to retweet someone else's stuff.
