Unprotected pick swaps, and the 29 fully unprotected is not nothing. 5 yrs from now, when our youngins are ready to contend, having those assets in our war chest will be very valuable. We control Milwaukee's draft for the 3 yrs after Dame and Giannis are no longer there.
Holy f***. I though Holliday must have been on an expiring. He has a player option next year at $37.3MM https://www.spotrac.com/nba/portland-trail-blazers/jrue-holiday-6316/
A HOF center? Set the bar a little more realistic if that's what you think we could get in return for Dame.
Personally, I think having control of the Bucks picks in the distant future is FAR more appealing to me than even an additional straight first from Miami. Maybe it's the kool-aid, but the more I think on this, the more I like it.
Miami sure does seem like a perfect fit for Jrue. He will not bring back everything you listed since he will be a FA next year, but nonetheless he should bring back something of value
Happy for Dame, Giannis, the Bucks and their fans. Happy for the tears of the Heat and their unprofessional media. Waiting to see what Jrue brings back to see how happy to feel for the Blazers.
Until he fouls out because he has to guard the paint now that Jrue isn't there to stop players on the perimeter...
He's going to be loved there as long as he doesn't totally bomb on the court. It's one of the cities as close to Portland as he could get in terms of fan appreciation and media not overreacting to sell papers, get clicks or draw ratings.
is it wrong that I also kinda liked Camara coming into the draft as a second-round flyer? I'm not sure that I actually don't like his potential more than someone like Jaquez (currently Jaquez is far more refined).
How can they not be the odds-on favorite to win it all? The inside-out game is RIDICULOUS on the Bucks. That's not just one ring, but multiple rings. They haven't had a combo like that since Oscar Robertson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
