If OKC's goal it to help us being giving us picks and cut down on SGA's minutes, then I suppose it's possible. I'm going to bet they won't be trading for Jrue though. I hope they do though!
Not an issue. Portland can take back ~$40M in contracts just by sending Holliday out. There's no need to aggregate his salary
Yeah, it would be tough. Too bad because they have an abundance of SFs. But to get to Jones, Nance's contract would need to be added along with two more players. (i.e Lewis/Daniels)
And actually, we can send out other players with him as well, as long as the pieces being exchanged could also be done separately. There are very few potential trades that the aggregation rule would prevent.
Can't combine his salary to match. If he matches on his own then we can lump whatever we want on top of it as long as it works for other teams.
I would find it hard to believe OKC gives up a whole lot for a guy that could retire in two years though right?
reading Milwaukee fans, they are pretty convinced it wasn't their defense that has failed them the last 2 seasons and playoffs, it was their offense
they don't have the salaries unless they send CJ...or Jones + Nance + Lewis + Daniels; which they wouldn't do, IMO
I think he was saying Boston sends a1st to GS But Boston wouldn't give up Brog, RW, AND 2 1sts for Holiday.
There's a lot of truth to that. They had no one outside of Giannis who was a threat, and even with that, Giannis can't create for himself like Damian can.
