all three teams kind of got what they wanted, although the Blazers would have liked to have quite a bit more. Market and circumstances worked against them
Only sports jersey I’ve ever purchased (aka not as memorabilia) to wear was Dame’s. 6 months ago when I moved to Hawaii (figured everyone wears tanks or goes shirtless over here, anyway). I miss what once was, but it was time to move on.
Interesting.... Spears says that Goodwin talked to Milwaukee and Brooklyn and told those two teams not to tell the Blazers that Dame was okay with them because he thought it could negatively impact the negotiations.
It's hard to say what shafting Miami was worth, but I estimate it was around 3 FRP's. The tears of their fans and media? PRICELESS!!!!
I like how Bucks media is having a farewell party for Holiday, acting like, "we got Lillard, but no big deal"
Milwaukee picks are better than Miami picks. Jrue is a better asset than Herro. We just need another young player and a pick or two.
Well, Holiday was the guy they brought in as the difference maker between being an also ran and the champion. He should be respected but they should also be excited. Dame has never had a team of defenders around him like this, he's also never had a team with so many guys capable of getting themselves high level shots has he does now. At the same time this is by far the best teammate Giannis has ever played with and I think during that championship run it was debatable if his best teammate was Middleton or Holiday or even BroLo.
oh I get all that, much appreciated Jrue. Just think it's funny they're not having a Dame fiesta, trying to downplay the significance of the trade.
I would really like a 23 team photo as memento. Anyone have one they would part with? @THE HCP maybe?
