Clippers: Morris Covington (or Batum) Kenyon Martin Jr. for CP3 Warriors: CP3 Kuminga '28 first for Holiday Blazers: Holiday for Kuminga Morris Covington (or Batum) Kenyon Martin Jr. '28 first
The Suns '27 and '29 unprotected 1sts, I really want those. Holiday with their glut of talented wings and a great young defender in Claxton, the Nets might contend for HCA right now.
I didn't listen to this, but I do wonder if Patrick Williams is worth trading Jrue for. DeRozan would need to be included and moved. But I am not sure if he could get us much back. So my question is how good is Patrick?
Not really, for me anyway. Not against adding him. I like adding any young forwards with potential. It just depends on the cost and what else is coming.
I remember him being impossible to stop if he had a lane to the basket. If the Blazers focused too much on the star players, Kuminga would get a dunk. He's a better ball handler than Little and bigger as well.
If we're willing to wait, I'd LOVE to go after Cam Johnson or Herb Jones. Both players can be traded on December 15th.
The guy can hit the three, he is super athletic, really long, he plays aggressively on defense. He hasn't ever put up solid rebounding numbers.
Trade him to the Sixers for Harden and more draft picks then trade Harden to the Clippers for more assets
Why does DeRozan need to be moved? I think DeRozan would be a reason they ever make this move. Honestly, their interest in him reeks of the same desperation they had when they traded for Vucevic. If their interest is real and they really want him, I'd take this deal: We trade Holiday (~$35m) We get PWill ($9.8m), Ball ($20.5m), filler, our 1st back, unprotected 1st in '28 and top 4-protected 1st in '30 Bulls gave up Wendell in addition to 2 1sts for Vucevic. Pat is the same tier of a prospect as Wendell was, but we would have to eat two years of Lonzo, and Holiday is a tier above Vucevic as a difference maker. Holiday + Lavine + Derozan + ____ + Vucevic Do I think that team has any chance of contending? No I don't. But the Bulls always seem to want to stay relevant. If we're talking about just hunting picks, the Bulls picks and the Suns picks via BRK are among my favorite targets at the moment.
I have a gut feeling that he gets traded quickly. There seems to be a feeding frenzy and I suspect we will want to cash in.
I don't think we can afford to wait until then. His value is highest right now. Plus, God forbid, he gets injured...
I'm skeptical of his Harden's actual value in the trade market. Those who think trading Jrue for Harden and a 1st then hoping Harden might still fetch two 1sts are going to be disappointed.
Yeah in that video @Natebishop3 just posted from NBA Today, Woj says that he doesn't think two FRPs and expiring contracts from the Clippers will be enough in this market for Holiday. So that means Woj thinks we might be able to get three FRPs or a quality young prospect and two FRPs. Wow, that would be fantastic!
Drop one of those picks and give me Dalen Terry as well. But yeah... this was what I was just thinking about during my commute home. I like the idea of dealing for Lonzo and letting him convalesce while our youngsters develop, but take a chance on possibly getting something out of him when healthy.
I wouldn't be opposed to Terry and drop the '30 1st either. Not too familiar with his game but I saw 6'7 SG.
