for all we know, this coul
    the IQ one...

    - expiring deal.
    - is asking for 100m
    - is 6-3 on a team where there's 3 guards that all need heavy minutes.
    - you'd probably want to immediately flip him if you got him.

WHY IS THIS A THING, ALWAYS.

There's so many damn guards in the league right now. I was trying to look for young forwards and there's just barely any in the league. It's a desert.

That guy openly says that he doesn't talk to anybody he knows in the NBA about rumors or anything like that, so he operates on zero intel and when he puts those trades together it's obvious why he's not in an NBA front office anymore. The thing that mystifies me is why the fuck is he on TV the guy has the personality of a rock and isn't a very good writer. I get it that he has a good resume but shit, they could get someone better for this stuff.

Pretty sure he was assistant GM when the Nets made that HORRIBLE trade sending us the pick that turned into Dame. He wasn't the main dude, but he was there.

I would love it if the Blazers could get a good, young small forward. A guy who can guard 3 positions at least.

"Should the Hornets be interested in a player that is one of the best defending guards in the League. And has all kinds of veteran experience that this team desperately needs.
Would be a perfect fit next to LaMelo Ball, would be what we've been screaming for from this organization to seek out. YES!"

There seem to be many people in the forum that don't understand that just making the playoffs is a huge step for some teams. We've been used to it with Dame. It's not the same elsewhere.

A veteran player isn't only attractive to "contenders."

So it was rumored that we really like Dick. In this little mock trade we'll be the Bucks. This assumes that the Nets really want more experienced depth so they can just run and play pressure D all the time constantly rotating in fresh players who defend multiple positions well and want that so bad that they're willing to pay a huge tax bill which they have in the past. That Suns pick might have to be two future second rounders but still.

How would we know even if there "seems" to be a feeding frenzy? I just see blowhards blowing smoke.

Woj isn't a nothing chef and if you scroll up and watch that clip form NBA Today Woj says that the two unprotected FRPs and expiring contracts that the Clippers can offer probably won't be enough to get Holiday because he thinks some team pays more in draft capital and maybe a young player to get Holiday. I think Woj is the guy most plugged into NBA front offices in the media.

Going from Pat daring us to find better prospects than Jacquez and Jovic to us landing PWill and Terry AND getting 1sts would also just be fucking hilarious LOL

Woj is basically confirming we have the offer of two unprotected 1sts from the Clippers already. It's up to Joe to see if he can create a bidding war to get more.

A feeding frenzy simply means many teams throwing in their hat or giving consideration to Jrue Holiday.
It's a very different situation compared to trying to trade Dame.

Were they blowing smoke when multiple reporters called that a trade would happen soon? They didn’t get the ultimate destination right but they knew we were fielding offers and something was imminent.

He and RJ Barrett I have no interest in. It comes down to NYK needing to trade three quality 1sts, Fournier, and Hartenstein. Anything less and I'm hanging up the phone.

    Why are teams interested?
