You know who Caruso reminds me of? Josh Hart (with even better defense). And I can think of no higher praise. (Well, for a player like Caruso, anyway.)

Marang has been saying this from the jump.
Might have to start putting respect on his name

"Jrue Holiday Interested In Heat, Clippers, Lakers, Celtics, Bulls, Sixers"

    Heat:
Lowry (waived) + Jaquez + Jovic + 2028 - Heat 1st. If Heat don't want to trade both Jovic and Jacquez, they'll need to throw in another 1st.

    Clippers:
Morris (waived) + Covington (waived) + Mann + 2027 Clippers 1st + 2029 Clippers 1st. I doubt the Blazers are looking here. Making the East teams bid against each other sounds like a sound way moving forward.

    Lakers:
Impossible, nothing to trade to make it work. Don't know why anybody thinks they stand a chance.

    Celtics:
Unlikely. Celtics would probably have to give up either Horford or Robert Williams. Williams + Brogdon + Pritchard + Walsh + two of the many 1sts they own between their own and GSW's.

    Bulls:
    Lonzo + Patrick Williams + Dalen Terry + a 2029 1st. Sounds unlikely.

    Sixers:
Unlikely, they'd love to ship out Tobias Harris' expiring deal, which matches Jrue's money, but they will have a hard time coming up with draft capital to make it interesting for the Blazers.

Are we able to trade Holiday now or do we have to wait a certain amount of time?

Now, but only by himself from our end, but with his 36 mil or so salary this is no problemo

Why's that? Because it's a positive result? Seems perfectly reasonable for both sides. I'd also want our pick back.

If we're talking strictly picks , it seems the Clippers would be the best to acquire.

Interesting package for sure. We couldn't move Ball while he is injured, but next summer his ending contract might be helpful. What type of exemption if any can we get for a disabled player who is out for the year?

I liked Dalen Terry coming out of AZ but it seems like we are loading up with SFs who can play D but can't shoot. Still I think he has a lot of potential.

Patrick Williams seems like a good fit, but I just haven't seen him play.

Yeah there's a reason the Clippers haven't been willing to give him up in the Harden deal. He's a plus defender with .520 and .390 shooting splits. Low volume, but he's a solid 2 way player. I'd love to get him in a Clippers deal. Not sure they let him go though.

I was listening to Zach Lowe and he said those two Clipper pics are very valuable because this team is old and will most likely suck in the future.

We keep saying Heat, but none of the reports of teams making offers mentions Miami.

That's like saying that "once Kobe retires the Lakers will suck." The Clips are now a FA destination because Ballmer throws money around like confetti.

    Yup.

I would love that kinda deal.

    - Williams (we could sign him for a discount as a RFA next yr)
    - future first

Lonzo has 2 yrs left at 20 mil so I'd need our pick back as compensation.

Terry is meh. He didn't show anything of note his rookie year.

Think Chicago would do this too.
