Reportedly they were interested in Dame, but he wasn't interested in them. I see them & the Clippers as being the most motivated by need to acquire Jrue. STOMP
I cannot figure out a way to do it in a simple trade but Dereck Lively Jr would be who I really want. Youth, Size, Defense, Rebounds at the PF spot Plus salary match / expiring and picks
Please re-read what I said. I said, “if I’m a Bulls fan”. If I was a Bulls fan, I would want to tear it down like how Portland recently has. I would equate the Bulls trading for Holiday as us trading for OG, we were never going to win with OG and Dame.
Not unless he fleeced the Heat. If the package is anything close to what he would have gotten for Dame then everyone will say it was personal between Joe and Dame and the Heat had nothing to do with it. That would not sit well with many Blazer fans.
No way. I am pretty sure he made a FT last season. He claims to be the best rebounder ever. Evidently he has never heard of WC.
The question would be why would Atlanta be interested. They seem to have a lot of guards. But sure Hunter is pretty good.
I'd love it. That would mean we got more out of Dame than we would have by sending him to Miami to begin with. Great move Joe!
Why, If the package is close to what he would have got for Dame, everyone should be happy, since it means that he got what Miami offered + picks from the Bucks + DA for Nurkic and change.
I don’t see Hawks being in the market for Holiday. Trae is still on their books and they re-signed Murray. I’d be interested in their 1sts as well. Hunter, filler, the ‘24 lotto-protected SAC and an unprotected ‘29 1st would be a starting point, but we can’t really do any more pick swaps with our own 1st being locked through ‘28.
according to 82 games: this season: and last season: I've watched him 3 or 4 times and those numbers kind of reflect what I saw. He's not good at defense, is a mediocre rebounder, not much of a facilitator, and doesn't seem to get to the FT line much He's an excellent 3 point shooter though, but at this point he seems like pretty one-dimensional honestly, just like with Kuminga I don't see a lot of reason for enthusiasm. They both seem to be mostly potential at this point. But I haven't watched either enough to hold a strong opinion. I could be way off
I don't believe the Blazers F.O. will have anything to do with Miami as long as Riley is there. Bridges are burned
Because he refused to negotiate with Miami this summer. Which is fine if Miami pissed him off or if he just is not interested in their players. But if he turns around and admits that he actually does like those players, then it makes him look petty not wanting to send Dame where he wanted to go just out of spite. I don't think he will do that.
This guy thinks he's the most under-rated defender in the league. He does admit that PWill has defined strengths and weaknesses that are valuable and damning.
