It would only be possible in a multi-team where another team gets jrue, we get eason or smith jr, houston gets compensation from the other team who landed jrue. We also will get draft capital from team that landed jrue. Something like that

Blazers get RW3 and Prichard as possible long term pieces two firsts, and one more chance at Zach Collins (who could still be a good fit for us if he stays healthy.) Spurs get a legit starting guard to start the Wemby era, Celtics get Holiday, who they want for obvious reasons.

I like the idea of being able to play Grant at SF and Sharpe at SG. We could actually not suck at defense with this lineup
    Scoot/Simons/Prichard
    Sharpe/Simons
    Grant/Thuybulle
    Collins/Walker
    Ayton/RW3

I don’t think this is a trade the fans want, so I don’t know how this could be true?

They also have Cam Whitmore and other 3/4s, they can stand to clear the redundancy a bit. Jrue can play the 2.

Posted my idea a few minutes too soon. RW3 is an awesome player when healthy.

I think we should flip Brogdon to the Spurs. I think they will suck and their picks will be good. But I think they may want to build a legit team around Wemby right away.

I can't believe it! I had a dream we were getting Jordan Walsh from The Celtics somehow. And we didn't get him but we traded with the Celtics. handed them a championship, also

Yeah, I'm really interested to see what they do with Williams. Do you keep him and have an Ayton-Williams (when healthy) rotation? Are the Blazers open to flipping him should the opportunity present itself. I could see a TON of teams interested in a defensive first, rim-protecting big man (he may be top 3 in NBA in rim protection when healthy). He was the linchpin to that Celtics defense in their finals run a year ago.

I would imagine that Brogdon will want out immediately (he's only 30)... I am curious to see if the Clippers would be interested for expirings and something like a protected first.

Joe is on a mission to get Butler to demand a trade from Miami.

He made sure 2 teams in the east are better than Miami

Robert Williams isn't bad but their defense was much better with Al Horford. Not to rain on anyone's parade, just telling it like it is

The key to this deal is Robert Williams, a Robert Williams-Deandre Ayton rotation at Center is solid.
What this trade failed to address: the SF position
