Portland's front line has undergone a drastic change for the better and longer!

Ayton: 7 footer with 7'7" wingspan
    Timelord: 6'9" with 7"6" wingspan
    Grant: 6'8"' with 7"3" wingspan

and so many backup bigs and wings with height and length, this may be the best and fastest rebuild in F'n Blazer history. And these guys play DEFENSE. Man I am excited for this year and the next several!

    WAY YO GO TRADER JOE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is an improvement, gonna have an intriguing guard rotation AND also a fairly intriguing big rotation. Can't wait for the pre-season to start

I temper my excitement of Robert Williams with the fact that he was so injured in Boston. Big men in Portland historically have not become healthier once arriving.

The good thing is we only need 8 minutes a half from him. He is injury-prone, but were any of them serious? Meniscus tear is not good but unless there are multiple ones like Roy, it is not too bad. What was his worst injury?

If William's knee has finally stabilized & he's really thought to be good to go, I have no idea why the Celtics traded him away. Fingers crossed they made a monumental mistake

I'd love to see us land a PF and play Grant at SF and start Sharpe at SG. As long as we have Simons though, we're going to be playing that undersized backcourt.

Not too bad? The dude was on a minutes restriction all season last season and still missed three games after mid season due to knee pain. Many reporters have said that he likely has a knee problem like Brandon Roy. They started Al Horford in front of him and it wasn't because Al is the better player when healthy.

Cronin's Arms Race made them trade him away chop chop.
The NBA runs through Cronin now.

I am just going off the link I supplied that said "There is no long-term concern about his knee injury," Brian Robb of Mass Live reported. "No surgery was needed so ample rest this summer should have him at 100 percent in camp." Granted that was the year before, but all he had since was an arthroscopic surgery to repair it. Didn't Roy have multiple ones?

I believe you but I have not seen the article you are suggesting. In comparison to Nurk has he had that bad of an injury?

Word on the street (from Boston) is that this has been TimeLord's healthiest offseason in years.
We'll see, but I've decided to be optimistic, until proven otherwise.

Yep, we have a lot of new bigs to look at like Murray, Toumani, see if Walker has improved, so it works well if we don't overplay him.

I was on a street in Pittsburgh and said he’s looked horrible this offseason.

Ayton expressed a desire to play PF. That would be interesting. It would certainly make us bigger. His FG% from 16-3pt is actually similar to LaMarcus (though I hated that shot of LAs)

Cronin will take care of it. He'll just trick someone into trading us a bionic knee or Achilles' tendon.
