I just think he's too valuable to play as few minutes as will be available in our back court.

How do we contact the South Park creative team and get them to release an episode on the Dame trade saga?

JSJ would also be just as nice of a player in return if Houston prefers Eason more.

If we traded Brogdon to the Knicks and were willing to take Fournier we could get some picks back.

I’d be on board with that for sure.

I don't want KPJ even sniffing a single second on this team. Did you see what he was just in trouble for? If we do something like this, he needs to be waived on the spot.

Conceptually I agree with this - and I've always liked Brogdon. Except I don't want our 4 guards playing SF and there's not enough of 96 minutes for all of them.

10-20 games for Brogdon to prove he's healthy with our young guys handed less than ideal minutes, maybe sliding some to SF is ok. But it shouldn't be a full season plan.

Sure they would, if the Bulls also took Duncan Robinson contract for Scottie Pippen.

Yeah being a felony wife beater would make me pause to acquire him and immediately cut him.

Keep him. If he stays healthy this season he's an easy contract to trade at the deadline and can probably get you more from a playoff-race team than what you'd get right now. Just IMHO.

I agree but it just depends on how desperate teams are to keep up with the Bucks and Celtics.

Of course, you shouldn't pass on a great offer. You have a lot of options with him. Not to mention the fact that the Blazers as they are right now look like they will be in playoff or play-in contention, at least to me. Curious to see how much scoring you get out of Scoot and Sharpe.

    My Top 3

Brogdon to Houston for Porter Jr (waive) Eason.

Brogdon to BKN for Clowney & Dinwiddle

And my out of the box:

Brogdon & Sharpe to SA for Johnson & Sochan

Obviously he would be suspended until we could terminate his contract because of what he did.

But why acquire him just to suspend him then deal with player union appeals, etc? Would have years of stories about how the Blazers traded for a wife beater and it would go on Cronin resume forever, as well as Jody Allen's.

There's no strategic advantage either - just let the Rockets deal with that and plug a different salary into any needed trade.

When can Brogdon salary be aggregated, 30 or 60 days?

If the Blazers can't find a trade soon, might be worth considering pushing to that deadline. Brogdons $22 million or whatever is harder to match than Jrues... For instance I was thinking of Philly giving us Harden and a pick but he makes too much. Lowry is a name sometimes mentioned but again he makes too much.

Like the idea of flipping half the starters in the league for endless draft picks each lol... Dame to Jrue to Brogdon to Harden to ......

He’s the only worthless salary they have on that team. That’s the strategic advantage. Then we suspend him and hopefully we get to void his contract but if not waive him. Again though he’s needed for salary matching.

If we could get Patrick Williams and our pick back from the Bulls even if that meant taking on Lonzo's bad money and sending a couple of second rounders over, that would be badass.

    Agreed. Hopefully Chicago is desperate.
