I showed up to ESPN2 to see the pre-season game of the Warriors vs the Lakers.

What I am seeing is the Geico High School Showcase. The Warriors game start has been delayed to 7:17.

I also wanted to watch Stanford at Colorado on ESPN, but we've got Tulane and Memphis instead. The Stanford game is now set to start at 7:20 pm.

Don’t care what you all say. Chris Paul with Steph and Klay is absolutely filthy.
If you don’t have them as a contender you ain’t paying attention.

Offense was never a real issue for them, I am not sure their defense issues from last year are resolved and they are still undersized.

But I agree that they will easily make the playoffs and if they catch fire, they can win again. I would still rank them below Denver, bucks and Celtics

I don't know brother. Paul plays defense and so does Klay. Loony is there and Wiseman looks good. They still have Draymond and Payton. All they need is maybe one easy roster move for some size and they are really tough.
Can't argue that Denver are the champs though. The Nuggets are the team to beat.

At least when CP3 suffers his inevitable season ending injury, they may be able to scrounge parts off of him that can be used to keep Curry going.

Wiseman is not there anymore and CP3 looked a shell of his former self last year.

If gp2 and klay are back from injury and dray as well, maybe their defense will recover, but they have an old, injury ridden, undersized roster. I think it's more likely than not that they fall in the 2nd round. I just find it hard to believe that between dray, klay, Steph and a very old CP3 they will not have injury issues.

    They do play beautiful offense.

Brandin Podziemski has 7 assists in 11 minutes of play. He might be the missing piece in the Warriors 2nd timeline.
If you get open, he's throwing you the ball.

This dude is gonna get voted a starter for the All-Star game. If he plays like this, Scoot has no shot man.

if they can stay healthy (big if), Lakers could be a tough out.

yeah, I'd rate the seeds right now as:

    Wemby

    Holmgren/Scoot

and it's almost certain that another rookie is going to climb into the top year. Happens just about every year. Walter Kessler and Jalen Williams were pretty big surprises last season

I understand the hate and I even feel it a bit but truly playing the game the right way comes easy for these guys. I simply can't count them out right now.

Very easily fixed. They have a franchise and an owner that will make a move or two.

Hopefully that kid stays healthy which has always been a big concern of mine. But he’s a pleasure to watch. Pops will have fun with him.

He looks much better than in Summer League. He really does look like 7'4" KD out there with defensive instincts. And to think we almost got him.

Best thing that has ever happened to his health was the Blazers missing by one ball. Kid is leading a charmed life.
