That's an odd list of comparisons as none of them were 19 year old rookies except LeBron nor are most of these PGs. I'd be interested in a list of PG drafted in the top 5 in the last ~15 years with 1 year or less of college. Wall/Rose/Westbrook/Fultz/LaMelo/DAngelo etc

going by known Blazer examples, Scoot will have about 10 points and 5 assists. Portland will be down about 24 by 3rd quarter. Clippers will ease off the gas and bench starters. Scoot will have advantages in extended Keon Johnson garbage time. When the final buzzer sounds: Scoot 38m, 18pts, 8ast, 5reb Final: POR 112, LAC 123 a "fun & competitive" NBA game.
I just realized one guy that was unfortunately omitted from that list--Ben Simmons. This would be the best first game from any top-5 PG over the past decade, and it seems like most people expect Scoot to meet or beat this performance. We may want to temper our expectations.
even in that rookie season where Tyreke Evans averaged over 20ppg and over 5 rebs n over 5assists he had 10points in the first game... But i'm still gonna say 20-5-5 and 2 steals... The most important player we wanna get rolling on offense is Ayton, i still think Scoot goes for 20 in game 1, give em 15fgas, to get some confidence.. Scoots game isnt really built for that sort of "I'm not feeling confident in my shot tonight so im gonna pass the ball around" type of 'off-night' he sorta probes the defense like steve nash used to do but with a very different set of skills and athletic grade, n so whatever happens happens, but plenty of times its gonna result in him dropping 20+ points
12 points 3 rebounds 6 assists 3-9 shooting, 1 three pointer and 3 free throws and some loud fan will act like he's a bust and will start a "should've taken one of the Thompson twins" thread. And yes I realize 3-9 and 1 three pointer + 3 free throws doesn't = 12 points. Im too tired to care.
If Westbrook is playing, he will want to make Scoot’s life a living hell. The question will be if he decides to do it by out-scoring him, or if he’ll try to shut him down. With that in mind… 16 pts (2/6 from 3) 6 assists 3 rebounds 4 turnovers 5 fouls
