How are they going to adjust to an unblockable shot that goes in very consistently? How are they going to adjust to his length on defense when he can move his feet like that? If you've watched enough of this guy's film, post players that back him down and seem to have great position where they can use the rim to keep him from blocking their shot, still get their shots blocked by those go go gadget arms. Dude is a problem and there will be no adjusting for him. If he stays healthy he's going to dominate this league.

I was very surprised at how quick he was moving his feet on defense in that 1 minute clip.

Exactly, which is why I included the smiley face in my post.

I just can’t figure out why the league doesn’t realize that the populations of New York and LA are a bit greater than San Antonio.

I don’t think he would want 14 or 15 man minutes.

I will be shocked if he doesn’t have some kind of injury that causes him to miss significant time in the next few years.

And just how well are the Knicks run compared to the Spurs? And when exactly did the Lakers and Knicks get into the lottery last season?

Agreed. Keeping him would have cost us nothing more than a salary. And his defense and intensity are an absolute game changer.

What, you don’t think that the league could give the Knicks or Lakers a heads up? Your guys look really tired. You should rest them up so they’re really charged up for next fall. You know, after the “draft”. Wink, wink.

You think the league has more power than individual owners?

The owners are the leagues boss. No way they pay $2+ billion for a franchise just to have stars like Wemby gifted to another one. Not to mention the difficulties of defrauding the CPA firms attesting to integrity of lottery. Those CPA firms have over 50x revenue than all NBA teams combined.

Plus Spurs are a small market so it doesn't even help league revenue.

But yeah don't let facts or common sense get in the way of a delusional conspiracy theory.

Wemby looks unreal, might have the best rookie season since LeBron, or heck ever.

Injuries are #1 #2 and #3 concern I'd have for him to be a multi time MVP and champion.

He does all sorts of things to prevent injuries, strengthen his feet and many types of foot exercises before games. Windhorst reported on it before the draft. Still just seems like the physics of being 7'5 is impossible to mitigate.

Saw him in person at summer league and was worried he'd fall and break.

17-18 a year is probably a decent deal for both. Hope Zach takes advantage of this.

Grizz will have to pick up somebody, that is a pretty significant loss. Adams sets monster picks, has superhuman strength, and is probably the most seasoned vet on the roster.
