That sucks. I never watched Friends and kind of despise it but this is awful. Perhaps drug related? I know he was fighting with substance issues for a long time.

My wife is always on my ass about jumping in the tub alone before sunrise with a cup of mud. Or when she goes shopping and I go for a soak.

It's a drug that makes you disassociate and experience euphoria. It's used in synthetic form as a medicine. He was undergoing ketamine therapy to battle opioid addiction, which seems strange. He said in his book that he first underwent the therapy overseas and that it felt like he was dying when he was on it, and that it wasn't for him. Still, he kept doing the the therapy once he got back here in the states. He last underwent ketamine therapy a week and a half before his death. But, he must have gotten more to supplement the therapy at home. They didn't find any though in his house.

But basically, he took ketamine at some point within a few hours of his death (it has a small half life), took his other medicine, stressed his body out severely playing two hours of intense pickle ball, got in the hot tub, experienced a heart attack, and drowned.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/matthew-perry-death-doctor-asked-173511787.html

The police arrested Dr Salvador Placencia an urgent care doctor who sold thousands of dollars of Ketamine to Perry's personal assistant, as well as Dr Mark Chavez. Doctor Placencia was apparently quoted as saying, "I wonder how much this moron will pay for these drugs."

Perry's personal assistant Kenneth Iwamasa, who procured and administered much of the drugs was also arrested. Iwamasa is said to have injected Perry with Ketamine no less than 20 times in the four days leading up to his death. The quantity present in Perry's body at the time of his death would be equivalent to the amount given to a patient for anesthesia.

Perry acquaintance Erik Flemming was likewise arrested for procuring ketamine for the actor from another source, ketamine queen, drug dealer Jasveen Sangha who was arrested last year and is also facing charges in Perry's death.
