Let the worrying begin. He doesn’t look even close to being a #3 pick.

He is 19 years old and he’s playing the most talented position in the NBA. I think people forget how bad Shaedon looked last year at the start. Aside from some explosive dunks, he looked completely lost on offense and defense.

I think Scoot is second-guessing himself. I haven't seen him shoot a midrange shot AT ALL, and that's his bread and butter. Has he been told to cut that shit out? He never puts his head down and drives to the hoop. Is he worried about getting stripped? Is he being told to run plays first and foremost?

Sure why not, might as well go full meltdown mode. Even if the pick becomes wasted, there will be more top 3 picks in the future… to waste

I mean, I can see why, from a development point of view, you'd want to put him in with the starters and tell him "you're bottom of the totem pole", but I'd really much prefer to have him come off the bench with carte blanche to play his game.

It's a mystery, isn't it? I'm wondering if having all these different ex point guards in his ear isn't hurting. This is where the head coach needs to step in and simplify.

Scoot and Ayton don't look like the players they were.
I expected the Blazers to have them attacking the hoop together, like we saw for one brief moment where Scoot made a fantastic pass to Ayton.
Meanwhile, Jerami Grant is the featured player in Chauncey's offense.

I don't know what the heck Billups is trying to accomplish.

Says the guy who says that Sharpe had plateaued prior to the season starting. Safely ignoring your opinion.

I think Billups is an absolutely atrocious coach. Give the reins to Scottie Brooks and get Vanderpool back while we look for a new head coach. Billups is absolute garbage. Without Dame it's crystal clear he can't coach.

Scoot had a dunk, and didn't shoot any airballs.
his best night as a Blazer so far

It’s still too early to call him a complete bust. Being that we drafted him as our future franchise player though it’s a little concerning looking at it in that perspective.

I would like to see Scoot and Ayton running the court together at every opportunity.
Scoot's passing ability is much better than we've seen in the regular season so far.
Ayton is a better scorer on the move than we've seen so far.
I though that's what this season was going to be all about, or at least a main part of it.
It's sad and frustrating watching Scoot being played as if he's Damian Lillard. I can't imagine he suddenly decided by himself to not take mid-range shots or dribble through the defense looking to pass.

Shaedon wasn’t the #3 pick and didn’t play competitive basketball for nearly (2?) years.

Would Shaedon be the 7th pick if that draft was redone?

He was the 7th pick because nobody had seen him in over a year.

I think he'd quite possibly be the #2-3 pick, no lower than #4.

I think this fanbase had been spoiled for 11 years and they forgot what it's like to not have a top 75 point guard running the show.
