The New Orleans Pelicans announced today that guard CJ McCollum has been diagnosed with small pneumothorax in his right lung after medical imaging was taken this morning. Additional examination will be performed in the next 48 hours to determine the progress of healing. Thanks to Neil CJ got the bag already. Sorry to hear this has happened again. Not a good thing to have recurring. Good thing is that when CJ can't play anymore he'll always have a cushy gig in the media with his journalism skills and experience. Hope he heals soon. I always liked the guy.

I know when he had it when he was with us they thought it was due to a collision in a game. I think it was likely a freak thing the first time but according to a few reputable medical sources, mayo clinic being one of them, once you have a collapsed lung you are more susceptible to that same lung collapsing in the future.
