You guys are missing the point. You play Scoot in this moment so he can experience it. A close game against one of the best teams in the league. This is about experience.

Maybe CB is trying to showcase JG and MB to increase their trade value. That is what I will now tell myself.

My personal opinion is that Scoot hasn't shown he's ready to lead the offense. I have no issue with him being off the ball because he's still getting reps on defense and learning the speed of the game. I do get where you're coming from and I don't think this is an ideal situation. There are negatives to giving it to Scoot all game when he's not ready and there are negatives to him not getting enough reps.

An imperfect roster, playing under an imperfect coach, should be expected produce imperfect results.

I found this afternoons game far more enjoyable than the stretch where Brogdon wasn't leading the team and we were just getting smoked.

I agree... I think Scoot can get valuable experience without being the focal-point of the offense. Based off what I've seen from Scoot, I think being the focal-point right now might be bad for him (and others) long term.

Blazers made 10-15 from 3 to start, then 3-17 from deep for the rest of the game.

scoot lacks confidence in some aspects of his game (getting rid of the ball & afraid to slash to the basket)

no-ones gonna kill him if he tries something and fails, id rather see scoot do something and fail then brogdon/grant do something and succeed

scoot is the present & future of this team (hopefully), the other two could be gone anytime and hopefully the will

I think so too. There is a directive from JC to CB to showcase JG and MB. If true, can't blame CB

I think she’s around my age. A girl I grew up with is good friends with her.

Honestly, I find her schtick kind of annoying

i didnt like how he played in the crunch time, deferring to grant/brogdon

if im the head coach, im putting the ball in the scoot/shae hands, fuck grant/brogdon and their feelings

If Brogdon was dropping dimes to Ayton I'd be ok with him starting for now.

However, Brogdon has no chemistry with Ayton so we're just wasting Scoot and Ayton by not letting them gel.

I agree with this notion. But if that’s the goal, then put the ball in Scoot and Shaedon’s hands so they can gain that experience. Instead, they were just standing around and watching Grant and Brogdon taking turns isoing.

Hopefully one of the blazers will develop into a superstar.
It's nice to get questionable whistles to go in your favor

Was it just me or did they fail to give us 3 points on a Camara 3 in the 1st qtr and Bucks 2 points they did not score? Look at it again.

edit: looks like I saw a replay and counted that

I'm in my late 40's. I was there when JDM was circa 1991 to 1994. But I left partway through my Junior year, but crashed the graduation party lol.

If there is anything one can call a good loss, that was it.

    Postgame Notes:

    • Bucks:
      • The Bucks overcame a 26-point deficit in tonight’s victory, marking their largest comeback win of the season, as they improved to 12-5. This was Milwaukee’s largest comeback win since it came back from 27 down at Chicago on Nov. 26, 2012.
      • Milwaukee had a season-high 13 steals, led by Brook Lopez and Malik Beasley who each recorded a season-best three steals. The 13 steals helped the Bucks also force a season-high 20 turnovers.
      • Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 33 points, hauled in a season-high 16 rebounds and dished out six assists in today’s win. This was his 107th career game with 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and 5+ assists, passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most in Bucks history. His 107 such games are the sixth-most in NBA history.
      • Damian Lillard also scored 31 points, marking his second consecutive and sixth 30-point game of the season. He scored 11 of his 31 points in the fourth quarter, marking the sixth time this season that he’s scored in double figures in the fourth quarter alone. Milwaukee is now 5-1 in those six games.
      • Bobby Portis Jr. scored 10 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter, shooting 4-6 from the field and 2-2 from three in the final frame. He also hauled in five of his eight rebounds in the fourth quarter.
    • Trail Blazers:

      • Malcolm Brogdon dished out a season-high 12 assists and scored 18 points for his third double-double of the season.

Oops! That final statement has a fatal assumption, you are assuming there are ANY plays. I’ve yet to see evidence of anything other then playground ball & ISO ball.
