Rolling Stone not mincing words: Henry Kissinger died on Wednesday at his home in Connecticut, his consulting firm said in a statement. The notorious war criminal was 100. https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/henry-kissinger-war-criminal-dead-1234804748/
Readers Digest version as to why we all hate him? I recognize the name obviously, but not up too date on his crimes against us good people.
Kissinger had a low opinion of North Vietnam, saying "I can't believe that a fourth-rate power like North Vietnam doesn't have a breaking point"... In September 1969, Kissinger in a memo advised Nixon against "de-escalation", saying that keeping U.S troops fighting in Vietnam "remains one of our few bargaining weapons".[33] In the same memo, Kissinger stated he was "deeply disturbed" that Nixon had started pulling out U.S. troops, saying that withdrawing the troops was like "salted peanuts" to the American people, "the more U.S troops come home, the more will be demanded", giving the advantage to the enemy who merely had to "wait us out".[33] Instead, he recommenced that the United States resume bombing North Vietnam and mine the coast.[33] Later in September 1969, Kissinger proposed a plan for what he called a "savage, punishing" blow against North Vietnam code-named Duck Hook to Nixon, arguing that this was the best way to force North Vietnam to agree to peace on American terms. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Kissinger_and_the_Vietnam_War
I spent 6 years in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam "police action". The politicians refused to call it a war for legal reasons. Every politican fucked up the Vietnam mess, not just Kissinger. The more the politicians were involved, the bigger the mess became. We won every battle, the politicians lost the war.
I hold no grudge against Kissinger, and hope he RIP. If I had to pick one politician that caused the most problems for the military by micro-managing policy and strategy that he knew nothing about, it would be Johnson. And second place is not even close. Example. Johnson required every plane flying over N. Vietnam to fly at a certain altitude. These planes became easy targets for the surface to air missles. Johnson killed a lot of good pilots.
The number of people Johnson might have indirectly killed PALES in comparison to the same for kissinger. Not even remotely close.
Woodrow Wilson, Soros, Bush sr., Rockefeller, the Dulles brothers, Gates, GW, Cecil Rhodes, LBJ, Cheney, Rumsfeld, the Clintons wait there’s like 75 faces on Rushmore, right???
