Have you ever heard the term "took it on the chin"? There are different places on the head that are more sensitive or more accurately when impact is taken there it is more likely to impact your brain. Jerami's hit looked worse in terms of concussion just because of his delayed reaction. Nurk looked like he got hurt (pain) more than rocked. Obviously because Nurk continued to play and Jerami staggered back and sat his ass down trying to clear the cobwebs before leaving the court for good.

The Gobert choke was worse and only got 5 games. So, this probably a game or two unless the NBA is trying to set an example.

I think this is worse because he claims that he grabbed Gobert because he was protecting Klay. It was BS but he had an excuse.

There is no excuse for this. It was completely unprovoked. He just spun around and smacked Nurk.

Indefinitely? Now that could be serious. This will be more than 5 games.

They're going to make it about him being a repeat offender. The league doesn't want this shit in their game. They might suspend him for the rest of the season but I'm going to stick with 10-20 games.

That's what it looks like. The ironic thing is, he probably wouldn't be this bad if they hadn't let him get away with so much shit over the years.

He was never offered for Dame. Not a single report that he was. Jovic looks like ass.

We'll see but the Bucks closers blew the blowout and the starters had to come back in.

Giannis exacting some revenge on the Pacers for knocking the Bucks out of the IST. 64 points, 14 boards, 2 assists, 4 steals and a block. Giannis went to the line 34 times, Yikes! Dude took over the game.

When I said that's what I thought should happen I was saying for any player in the league throwing something that brutal at a guy who hadn't done anything to him it should have been 10 games but for someone with Dray's history it should be more like 20. If they wanted to tell him that he had to sit the rest of the season and prove to them in the off season that he's a changed man in order to play next season I wouldn't have a problem with it. The amount of cheap bullshit that Dray has pulled in his career is unparalleled.

This isn't 60s-80s super hard fouls or even harder fouls as payback, it's also never been two guys squaring off and fighting each other. It's cheap shot after cheap shot to the nuts, its stomping on the opposing team's best player's chest, it's choking a dude from behind that hadn't engaged anyone in combat and then this spinning attack on Nurk who was just playing ball. Fuck Dray! When there was talking of Dame wanting him here I was not on board for a second that dude is a defensive liability if he has to play by the same rules as everyone else and then he just becomes a short post player who uses leverage well and has really good court vision.

I thought most were undervaluing him as a prospect.

True on both accounts. However, Portland also never really engaged Miami in discussions. If they had, I would expect that Jaquez would have been included... But I still think Joe made the right decision this summer.

Josh Hart with 0/2/2 in 29 minutes tonight for the Knicks. It looks like he's having his lowest scoring season since his second year in the league and his lowest FG% since 2021.

His second year with a team has had a scoring decline all 4 times.

it was a torturous Knicks game from beyond the arc. Brunson 0-6, Barrett 0-7, Hart 0-5, the Jazz put a lid on the rim.
