Man.... we also said we were gonna run this year. We say it every year. You can't take anything that is said during media day seriously. It's all fluff bullshit.

Running sounds great until your young guards start spraying errant passes all over the arena.

What coaches and management says is different than players.

no... I have nothing but the live action moment on memory, and a general idea what the refs called. The bad replays shown by the Blazers broadcasting crew further enticed a controversial call. Lamar Hurd started freaking out when the ball went off Curry. There was never follow up clarity by the TV crew of the exact call. I believe during the pile up of shoes heads hands and feet on the baseline cam replay, we caught a millisecond glimpse that both of Jerami's feet were clearly outta bounds while he was slapping at the ball. If the call was an illegal touch, it was never properly explained to viewers.

We only saw Curry flopping, the ball squirting out, Lamar having a frickin cow, a zoom in shot of Jerami walking away, followed by terribly zoomed in half speed replay of Curry's backside, and a thumpy incoherent baseline replay.

You saw wrong then. It clearly went out of bounds off of Curry's feet/legs. No doubts.

What would be the best site to compare transition attempts from year to year? I guess that's probably imperfect because a bad defensive team can't fast break near as well. Not sure what the proper metric would be.

Mike basically sums it all up pretty nicely.

    Section I—Instant Replay Review Triggers

    1. Instant replay will be triggered in the following situations

Officials are not reasonably certain as to which team should be awarded possession after a ball becomes out-of-bounds or whether a called out-of-bounds in fact occurred during the last two minutes of the fourth period or last two minutes of any overtime period(s). [NOTE: Notwithstanding Section (I)(a)(7) above, Section II(g) below, and related provisions, the Official NBA Playing Rules have been modified for the 2021-22 NBA season (one-year trial basis) to (i) eliminate referee-initiated instant replay review of out-of-bounds violations during the last two minutes of the fourth period and the last two minutes of any overtime period; and (ii) extend the Coach’s Challenge (see Rule 14) so teams may trigger replay review of out-of-bounds violations throughout the entire game. Accordingly, a Coach’s Challenge is the only mechanism to trigger replay review of out-of-bounds violations at any point during the game.

So did the 2021-22 NBA season one-year trial expire and revert to the rule in Bold?

Our POA defense is really bad without Camara. So him averaging 22 mins in the last 3 games while our 3 point guards play more minutes is probably not helping. When the point of attack breaks down, everyone else needs to scramble to cover, and that's asking a lot for this group...

Maybe it's too late, but i would like to see our coaches really work with him, day after day. Two or three coaches, setting him up in situations on the court, (most likely defensive) Repeating each situation and his response until it is ingrained in him. Even if his processing speed is slow, maybe that can be overcome. Worth a try anyway.
