Am I the only Ducks fan who was rooting for Washington? I figured if Washington dominates it makes Oregon look like the second best team in the nation. Now that thought may be a backfire...lol. Was very cool to see Dan Lanning with the announcers though!
************************************************************************** in case anybody has missed it, husky fan are in full blown meltdown about the officiating and blaming it for a loss...a loss by 21 points:
hahahaha. Isn’t the enemy of my enemy my friend though? Edit: I guess that would make Michigan the friend. Dammit!!! L.
Yeah, I started out the game thinking the same way as you. Last hurrah for the PAC-12...Oregon only being beaten by the eventual national title winner...etc. Once the game started and I was actually trying to root for the purple hyenas though...I just couldn't. Huck the Fuskies now and forever.

yeah, I'm being petty but I remember the massive celebrations and shit-talking by Washington fans when the Ducks lost in the national championship game...twice! https://fb.watch/ptfPohR45o/?mibextid=UyTHkb
I don't blame them for crying about the officials. They have gotten their way all damn season with the refs and they have looked mediocre as fuck for weeks. They seem to only get up for us.
To be a bit fair, Penix was dinged up pretty badly in last night's game and looked like a shadow of the player he'd been the week before. If he'd been in that condition in the games with the Ducks, the Huskies would have never made the playoffs.
I’m sure that, like most players this time of year, he’s been nursing some injuries. But he got nailed in the ribs and got his ankle rolled up on by a teammate. He could hardly move by the end of the game.
I’m thinking that a great way to start off next season in the new conference would be to get some t-shirts printed that say, “THE Oregon Ducks”.
I actually tuned in with that in mind. Saw them trailing by a touchdown. I was going to root for them like I would root for the Beavs. Then it looked like they might be gaining momentum and I was pissed. I didn't choose to be pissed. I don't like Michigan. I mean, but I don't hate Michigan, either... Then Michigan took back momentum and I was no longer stressed. I was feeling much better. So I just started enjoying the Husky beat down and everything was right in the world.
