Final update, I hope. 10" -12" of snow Temp near zero, and dropping For reference, I am at 3,000' elevation, so none of this is near record breaking for us. However, this storm is weird. With a mix of strong wind gusts, snow and very cold temps. Any number of problems could develop. Time to play with the tractor, and dig out. Good luck.

It was forecasted to snow today but looks like it won’t happen until tomorrow sometime The next 24 hours they aren’t calling for snow in the busta ass burbs, @hcp you should be good to drive it’s just gonna be cold as hell
Its changing by the hour. An hour ago it was 100% snow for today in Canby. Now 80%. Tuesday was snow, now just cold rain.
Yeah - there are a number of different forecast models with different predictions. I suspect that tonight we will see a number of reporters on the news in various locations around the city showing us film of bare pavement and talking about what the snow might look like when and if it arrives.
I may just have to heed your advice. We’re big kale folk in my family. It’s the holy grail of the leafy greens. We bought a brand new house in August and have slacked in getting our garden in order. We’re both big green thumbs though so it’s on the horizon
To keep the water pipes from freezing. Let water drip/trickle from the faucet. BTW, temp outside of my window is now 12 below zero.
My faucet has had a slow drip/trickle for several years now. Oh wait - never mind, different subject!
