    We waited till we were older to have kids as well. Think we saved ourselves a lot of drama by being financially set. Goal has always been to allow them to do any program or sport they want. Have never had to say no because of money or time.

    I know this only thru second hand though. :)

    when my wife found out she couldn’t have kids it broke our heart, so we now live as parents vicariously thru friends and families offspring. :)

    Oh man.. a good quality parent would consider free time SPENDING time with thier children. Not looking for time away from them.
    if not, then I’m pretty sure you are doing it wrong… like many parents out there.

    It’s a weird feeling to be sad and happy at the same time.

    Sleep the first couple of years was tough but we travel atleast 3X more now than before having kids.
